Progressive jackpot history
Progressive Jacks or Better, the Gamesys version of the well-known video poker game, has a couple of couple of characteristics that set it apart from the other installments available at other sites. First, the graphics, effects, and overall presentation in this version are unquestionably some of the best of any out there. Second, this game is somewhat unusual in that a royal flush is not enough to win this one. Instead you need a royal flush of spades to claim the big one, while a royal flush in hearts, diamonds, or clubs will win you 800x your bet.
Jacks or Better is a game that never seems to lose its luster, regardless of how long or often it is played. Like in other poker-based games, the goal of jacks or better is to make the best poker hand or hands possible. The game can be played in both single and multi-hand modes, with the player able to select from 1, 5, 10, 25, or 50 hands. You begin the game by receiving a baseline five card hand. Next, you select the cards which you would like to keep. These cards are held in each of your hands. You then receive new cards in each of these hands and are paid in accordance with the amounts listed on the screen.
In order to win the progressive jackpot which is shown right above the baseline hand, you must make a royal flush of spades. The lowest hand in the game which can actually win you something is a pair of jacks.
