Creepy clowns have taken the world by storm and Yggdrasil Gaming has apparently been well prepared for the phenomenon, as they developed the Wicked Circus video slot, which plays almost exactly like the group's multitude of Jokerizer slots, meaning that there's really no reason for this game to exist.
Wicked Circus is a 5 reel, 5 payline video slot that takes place in a screwed up traveling circus caravan coach. The game's symbols are all the same ones that are found in the other Joker games put out by Yggdrasil, although some of the symbols have been tweaked a bit to be scary and creepy to players. These symbols are composed of cherries, lemons, grapes, bells, 7s, and a star. The creepy joker and a glowing mystery globe also make an appearance, giving players big wins when they seem to come up.
Feature wise, Wicked Circus is nearly identical to the other Jokerizer slots that, if you haven't caught on by now, I absolutely hate. The game has wild symbols, pays both right to left and right to left, and the Jokerizer mode, which is essentially a gamble feature. The game does have a posted return to player percentage of 96.5%, which is very healthy for an online slot.
Now, I have been VERY hard on Yggdrasil Gaming for their Jokerizer series of games, which I have found to be exact replicas of the exact same crappy game. This actually does still extend to Wicked Circus, which becomes instantly boring given the small number of paylines and lack of slot features. The Jokerizer mode is painful as well, as the game works as a gamble feature but doesn't make the collect button the most prominent, which in turn can make it easy for a punter to gamble their winnings when they didn't mean to.
Unless you're the type of person who enjoys punishing yourself, I highly recommend you check out other video slots from Yggdrasil, who actually do produce games that are far better than this one.
