About Jungle Books

Before it was a Disney cartoon, the Jungle Book was a popular book, which follows the story of Mowgli as he befriends the beasts of the jungle and becomes a man. The tale itself is in the public domain, and Yggdrasil Gaming has taken advantage of this by developing and releasing their Jungle Books slot. The game captures the familiar look and feel you may have seen in various films and cartoons.

Jungle Books is a 5 reel, 58 payline video slot that is set in the jungle. You get to play alongside Mowgli and his bear buddy Balloo as you try to score fruit. Instead of providing nourishment though, these delicious treats provide cash prizes. Symbols in the game include standard symbols like spades, clubs, hearts, and diamonds, but sit alongside orange fruit, pink fruit, green fruit, purple fruit, and blue fruit. There are also grouped orange fruits and wild symbols in place.

Where Jungle Books shines though is the feature set, which is rich in it's own right. The game packs in free spins, linked reels, a pick'em bonus, random win multipliers, spreading wilds, stacked symbols, sticky wins, and stacked wilds. These features are offered at various times as Mowgli travels the jungle and encounters Bagheera, Shere Khan, and Kaa. The game has a posted return to player (RTP) percentage of 96.1%, which is just about average for what we expect from a Yggdrasil slot.

Jungle Books is a solid video slot, and even though I have no idea what causes it to transition from character to character, I love it. The game has a great theme and has some huge swings when you get the right bonus features together. This game is unique in so many ways that I can't help but recommend it to you.
