About Craps
Craps is one of the most exciting and adrenaline producing casino games. The online version is no less exciting, feel free to shout and cheer at your computer screen! Though the game looks intimidating when you look at the complicated layout, there is little you need to know to start playing it. You will discover that it actually is one of the easiest games to play.
Craps information
To successfully start playing Craps these are the basics you need to know. The first bet you make is called the pass line bet, by placing your chip or chips on the pass line strip that runs all around the craps table layout. This bet is made on the first throw of the dice. You are hoping to roll a 7 or an 11 if you are the shooter (the person who rolls the dice), or hope the person who is throwing the dice rolls a 7 or an 11. On this first roll, the come-out roll, these numbers are a winner automatically. If you, or who ever is the shooter, roll a 2, 3 or 12 you lose automatically.
Any other number rolled establishes a pass-line point. The shooter's goal now is to roll this number again before they roll a 7. If he does you win. But if they roll a 7 before rolling the pass-line point, then you lose, and the hand ends. In this case, the dice move on to another player who becomes the shooter.
There are a multitude of other bets you can make when playing Craps. See our guide to playing Craps for a more in depth explanation of the various betting options.
