Baccarat information

Baccarat is a table card game played between the player and the banker with a standard 52 card deck. Your goal is to predict if it is going to be the banker or player who will draw a hand of cards that will in total be closest to the number nine. Two cards are dealt to the banker and the player and their values are added up. In Baccarat this is done in the following way: cards from 2 to 9 are counted as their face value, cards from 10 to King are counted as 0 and Aces are counted as 1. When adding up the cards, the tens digit is ignored. So let's say you get a 5 and an 8, which would total to 13, you hand will be counted as 3. This makes the score for each hand always between 0 and 9. This also means you can never bust, like in blackjack.

The player and/or the dealer may be dealt a third card, but this will depend on the value of the first two cards they were dealt. There is also a possibility to bet on a tie, between the dealer and the player. If there is a tie, winning bets on the tie are paid, and all the bets on the player or banker are returned.
