About The Sword and the Grail
If you're looking to join the Knights of the Round Table to try and rule over England, then Play'n Go has a game for you. The company's The Sword and the Grail slot takes you to King Arthur's castle where you'll take in some action for a chance to become a legend, while taking home some of his highness' loot.
The Sword and the Grail is a 5 reel, 20 payline video slot that's set in front of the Round Table of Arthurian legend. The game's icons are well-designed with low paying icons being made up of coins with the Jack, Queen, King, and Ace icons pressed onto them. The other icons include a knight, wizard, princess, and King Arthur himself. There is also the sword in the stone as well as a gold goblet, which have special aspects tied to them. The artwork here is excellent, better than most recent efforts by Play'n Go.
The game's features are rich, and include wilds, scatters, free spins, multiplying wilds, and a multi-stage free spins round. The free spins are triggered by landing three or more of the sword in the stone scatter symbols. There are in fact four stages to the free spins round, with each stage featuring a grail multiplier wild symbol that increase at each stage, from 2x, 5x, 10x, through to 100x in stage four. You advance through each stage by landing more of the sword scatter symbols during the free spins round. The grail wild symbol can also act as a multiplier wild with one of those values during normal spins, though this is not guaranteed.
The reel layout and feature set give The Sword and the Grail a default theoretical return to player percentage of 96.5%, which is roughly what the majority of Play'n Go slots strive to hit. As with all Play'n Go slots though, there are multiple configurations for this slot, with the lowest RTP available being 84.6%. Always check the RTP value using the help file and avoid playing the reduced versions at all costs.
This game is playable on both desktop and mobile devices, and the game plays equally great on both platforms. The graphics are identical as well, and gameplay is smooth on the fast-moving reels when you press spin. I don't have a preference of one of the other, but I will say my fat thumbs seemed to hit the information button a lot on my iPhone. Without a doubt, this is a high-quality internet slot, and I recommend you give it a shot, even if you're not into medieval folklore.

I think that this is by far one of the best Play'n Go games they've released. The game has a lot of potential and the basegame and free spins are very intriguing. I've had the 100x multiplier a few times in bonus round, usually with dead spins but once it did pay me 300x bet win, so I definitely think it can pay well.
I agree with blck. First time I didnt like it because of funny winnings in the base game and my first bonus round was awful. But next time I almost reached that 100x multiplayer and understood that slot has some potential. Until now I didnt catch that 100x multi but hopefully that day is in the nearest future 🙂
its easy to get bonus, but its take long time to reach top level, the rtp on the base game was good, the 100x multiplier can drop on each spins by random, so its still possible to get full line of any symbols with 100x.
I enjoy playing this slot because the feature is relatively easy to get and it does have potential for some epic payouts if you get the rounds with the 100x multiplyer but from my experience I have only had small wins nothing more than 10 or 20 times
Strap on some sandals, sharpen your blades and prepare to take on Te Sword and the Grail, a mythologically minded online slot. Great game!
