About Rage to Riches

As a child of the 1980's, the Nintendo Entertainment System game Rampage was one of my favourites. For those of you not familiar with the game, you were tasked with taking over the role of a gigantic ape, lizard, or werewolf, and had to smash and destroy buildings, looting them for treasure and eating people and food left inside. The game had such a great amount of charm to it that it has remained one of my all-time favourite games, and I was thrilled to see that Play'n Go had developed the Rage to Riches slot, which is obviously heavily influenced by the iconic game.

Rage to Riches is a 5 reel, 20 payline video slot that features a theme based on the destruction by these Kaiju styled monsters. Symbols in the game are as follows (paying low to high): 10, Jack, Queen, King, Ace, the werewolf, the lizard monster, and the giant ape. A beautiful damsel in distress doing her hair is also available on the reels.

Feature wise Rage to Riches slot includes free spins, win multipliers, and a pick'em bonus. The free spins are set off when a player unveils three of the blonde girl symbols, and free spins can be re-triggered by filling a rage reel by accumulating three losing spins. The pick'em game is set off when players fill the bonus gauge by scoring a scatter win with the various card symbols. In that bonus round players select buildings to destroy for large cash prizes. In addition to these features, the Rage to Riches game has a generous theoretical RTP of 97.1% as well as cascading reels that see winning symbols pulverised and then replaced with new symbols, allowing you to win again on the same spin.

If you are a fan of retro styled video games you have to give Rage to Riches a try; it is a very fun slot that I have already spent too much time playing, and I think it has become one of my favourite Play'n Go slots.

Someone at Play'n Go is obviously a Rampage fan. They have the woman in the window and all the monsters are more or less the same. Its funny that Rampage was made by Bally who of course don't make video games any more, just slots.
