Get ready to hop into the forest with Play'n Go's new Hugo slot, which is based on the Danish television show of the same name. The game's content is interesting, as many online game designers have been criticized for designing slots toward children. With the children's television show featured front and center, this certainly seems to fit the bill.
Hugo is a 5 reel, 10 payline video slot that is based on the hit 1990 cartoon of the same name. The game has the same hand drawn look and feel of the cartoon and includes Hugo, his wife Hugolina, the villain Scylla, and Don Croco, another foe. Other symbols include treasure chests, gold nuggets, sacks of gold, dynamite, and a pick axe. The game also has regular slot symbols in 10, Jack, Queen, King, and Ace.
Feature wise, Hugo is pretty rich. The game includes wild symbols, scatters, free spins, and a pick'em game. The game's free spins round lets you choose from one of three modes, which offers more spins for lower payouts on bonus symbols. The bonus round sees you going into a mine and selecting doors to go deeper down. Each level you progress to gets you extra coins, and can be very lucrative to you. The game also has a posted Return to Player percentage of 96.4%, which is considered to be high for this style of game, especially a branded one.
All in all, the Hugo slot is a lot of fun. While the game looks like it's designed for children, its actually quite deep and able to get huge wins into your pocket. The game is a lot of fun in its bonus rounds, as the mines were able to net me some huge wins.
If you grew up with Hugo and are old enough to gamble, I highly recommend you check this game out.
it very easy to find any huge win. unfortunately from all the winning streak, not winning more than 100x total bet
Freespins not good, must have 1 of 3 features, my choice 5freespins 20x and bad bad luck 👎
Hugo has beautiful graphics and is funny game which makes me laugh especially at the moments when Hugo is talking to me:) I dont like to much free spins because never won big but bonus game is cool. Sad but just once i won maximum prize in this bonus game.
Ever since this game came out, I've never liked it. I don't really understand the theme and even though I usually like Play'n Go games, this one is really not my taste. I have played it numerous times and the bonus round can give average wins, but I've never had anything over 100x bet on it. It's one of those games that I don't understand why it was released and why there were sequels later on.
