About Hugo 2
The Hugo line of comics is huge in Europe, having been born in Denmark and appearing on all different types of media over the years. The series was picked up for licensing by developer Play'n GO, and they've developed games based on the troll's life, put him in soccer matches, and with the Hugo 2 slot, the game puts Hugo on a train track and sees you looking to haul in some gold.
Hugo 2 is a 5 reel, 10 payline video slot that brings the artwork of Ivan Sølvason and Niels Krogh Mortensen to life. The game is set in a forest complete with a volcano in the background, with tracks running through the middle of the screen. The game's symbols include train whistles, train switches, a conductor hat, a cart full of rocks, a skull key, gold bars, a sack of gold coins, a diamond, Hugo himself, and the villainous Afskylia, who serves as a scatter of sorts to let you into a bonus game.
That bonus game is called the Skull Cavern, and sets off when you get three or more Afskylia symbols to pop up on the reels. Players then have to guide Hugo across the cave, picking pedestals where they can get cash prizes, but face the risk of the pedestal collapsing, ending the round. If players get to the end, they pick a skull key for a chance to open a chest for a large cash prize.
Other features in the game include wilds and free spins, which can both generate large cash wins. The game is deployed with both desktop and mobile compatibility baked in, and the title is equally rich on both. I absolutely love this game and I think that it's among the best games I've played in recent memory. If you're a fan of Hugo, or think that you may become a fan in the future, this is a game that's well worth your time and money.

I think the game is less interesting than Hugo1. As far as I play the feature is difficult to trigger and less in the payment table. I don't know, I didn't find any superiority in this game
I don't think that this new version is bad, but the first one was much better.
The bonus feature of new version is very strange and gives small wins only.
A great slot with a high percentage of winnings, my last win: $ 70
Call me crazy, but I love the artwork in these Hugo games. That little troll dude makes me smile.
I'm a bit confused with this game. From one side I like it, from other I dislike it. The design is ok but not my favorite from Play'n Go. A few sessions ago at Slotjoint casino I managed to make a 90eur profit playing with minimum bets, but then again yesterday out of curiousity I tried it at Video Slots and lost over 100eur with minimum bets, without a single decent bonus. So I'd say, it is probably a good game for wagering when it is in a good mood, but other than that, it can be cold.
For me its even worst than Hugo 1. First of all I cant stand voice of Hugo. He is so annoying 🙂 Next thing are winnings. I always hit that bonus games but winnings always small. Always. How its possible that i never get a big win?🙂
No wins on this with 200 autoplay to check it out, huge Hugo fan so had to give it a a bash. No luck but great art. Good feature ideas and really good setup. Would like a nice win
