About Book of Shadows
There's nothing quite like Satanism that makes people want to play slots… said no one ever. Although sacrificing animals and calling out your inner demons may be what some people call a good Friday night, other people seem to generally shy away from the topic, as they'd rather, ya know, have fun. Nolimit City is looking to get you to soften up to the darkness with their Book of Shadows slot, which takes you to a dark forest where you'll conjure up some spells with the goal of getting you some cash money, all while bringing suffering to unfortunate souls in the world.
Book of Shadows is a 5 reel, 10 payline video slot that can expand to include extra rows such can give you 20 paylines to play with. The slot's symbols include 10s, Js, Qs, Ks, As, an eyeball in a jar, a satanic moth, a goat skull, a cat, a satanic girl, and a spellbook. There is a wheel bonus symbol that includes a pentagram with goat skull, which serves as a scatter.
The game's features include the above-mentioned scatter, free spins, locked reels, expanding symbols, and a gamble feature. The locked reel feature comes with a cost. The better your reel is for potential payout, the higher total you'll pay to lock that reel down. Book of Shadows has a default posted return to player percentage of 96%, but this can be lowered by an operator to 94.1%. I recommend you stick with the higher RTP and not play at lower RTPs if you can, as the house edge is greater.
I put some real time into this game and think that it has a solid base, although the theme is really off-putting to me. The game looks good on both desktop and mobile devices, with no tradeoff in quality on either device. The slot plays decently, although it does pack in a lot of the same features that we see from other Nolimit slots. I think this game will appeal to a small group but most will overlook it and stick to the more standard looking video slots from the developer.

I had tried this game on demo version but yesterday had a longer session with it. I do like the fact that minimum bets aren't high and you can diversify them based on how many rows you want active. I also like that the bonus buy has several options. I had one 100x bet win and I've seen other players winning huge so I certainly think this game can pay well.
I enjoyed this when playing at a casino that required me to wager on a very limited amount of games but this is actually a good one to wager your funds on
Played this number of sessions of gameplay.
I tested this slot yesterday and I had problems with the connection, it's not bad, but I'll see next time, if I'll have new problems connecting to the game.
Not a typical books slot but I would prefer to be. I respect the effort for creating something original but me personally I dont like. Hard to get bonus, small wins in base game and very rare big wins.
