The game has a magical theme, and features wild and scatter symbols as well as a free spins bonus with a triple multiplier. The maximum win on a single line is 40,000 coins at the highest bet level, and it can be tripled when in free spins round for a truly magical 120,000 coins.

The game features the Magician's cauldron, a castle, magic wand, potion, spellbook and card faces ranging from Ace to Nine. The wild symbol is the Wizard symbol and being a wild symbol, it substitutes for the regular symbols to form a winning combination.

The one symbol it does not substitute for is the scatter symbol which in this game is a crystal ball. When the scatter symbol appears two or more times in a single spin, the player wins an amount that equals the scatter multiplier times the amount of the initial bet. When the crystal ball appears three, four or five times, the player is awarded free spins. Every payout for wins during a free spin is automatically tripled.

Spellcast offers a major prize of 10,000 coins that is awarded when five Wizard wild symbols appear in any one activated pay-line. This jackpot is multiplied by the bet level and the free spins multiplier if in a free spins round. How to play Spellcast

The Spellcast slot machine features a row of five main buttons which control play:
