When Net Entertainment released the original South Park slot earlier this year, the game was met with near universal acclaim for its multiple bonus rounds, excellent graphics, and great sound effects. With the success of the first game, Net Ent quickly jumped on board to deliver a sequel game, South Park: Reel Chaos.
South Park: Reel Chaos Information
Those familiar with South Park will instantly recognize the character Butters Scotch, who stars in the game as his make-believe alter ego, the evil Professor Chaos. The game sees Professor Chaos facing off with several other South Park characters in their hero forms, including Eric Cartman as "The Coon" (a racoon), General Disarray, Kenny, Stan, Kyle, Mintberry Crunch, and more.
Just like its predecessor, South Park: Reel Chaos is a feature packed game that includes Wild Symbols, Stacked Wilds, Random Win Multipliers, Multiplying Re-Spins, Overlay Wilds, and Free Spins. The game has the same high production values as South Park, but does feature a darker setting and sound that is more dynamic, resembling something more like what you would hear while watching a Batman or Superman movie than a Comedy Central sitcom. Characters also quip quite a bit when you strike up a win, delivering dramatic dialogue that will make you reminisce about the many adventures these fourth graders have had throughout the years.
For me, the highlight of the game had to be the Cartman Expanding Wilds, which see General Disarray taunting The Coon, who then scales the reels to get justice. The scenes were always hilarious, while also helping win big amounts of cash. Another great feature was the Mintberry Crunch battle, which sees the hero scaling a skyscraper where he fights various enemies, earning multipliers in the process.
I had a great time playing South Park: Reel Chaos, and feel that it is definitely a worthy sequel to the South Park game that I also loved. If you are into good comedy and huge prizes, this game is one you need to try.
