Mega Joker is a 5 line, multi coin slot machine with two sets of three reels. The bottom set of reels is for the regular game, and the top set of reels are reserved for Supermeter mode which can optionally be invoked after winning in regular mode. It also has a progressive jackpot up for grabs with the winner randomly selected - the bigger your bet, the better the odds are of landing the jackpot.
Mega Joker is based on a fruits theme and the symbols on the reel are Joker, Seven, Cherries, Water-Melon, Lemon, Orange, Bell, Plum and Chest. Under the basic mode, players can bet either 1 or 10 coins per spin, and choose between a coin size of $0.10 or $0.20. When a player wins a spin in regular mode their winnings are transferred up to the Supermeter at the top of the machine. The player then has a choice - either enter Supermeter mode by hitting spin or bank their winnings by hitting the collect button.
While in the supermeter mode, the player can adjust the bet size from a choice of 20, 40, 100, or 200 coins per spin, then the top reels are spun, and any wins are added back to the Supermeter. If a player bets 100 and spins three Jokers on the middle reel he is awarded a random mystery win which can be anything between 100 and 2000 coins. If he bets 200, more than one joker in any reel gives him a mystery win between 100 and 2000 credits. You can bank your Supermeter wins at any time by hitting Collect.
Mega Joker has a huge range in its payout rate depending on choices that you make while you play. Most importantly, it is crucial that you always wager the maximum 10 coins when playing this game because the RTP is set to a horrible 76.9% when wagering only 1 coin. The RTP range for playing 10 coins is a much friendlier 89.1% - 99%. However if you want to achieve that mythical 99% you will need to master the "skill" of knowing when to collect your winnings in the Supermeter mode. Net Entertainment claims that it is a skill based decision, but they don't document the optimal time or conditions to collect your winnings, so your guess is as good as mine.
