About Jimi Hendrix

As a fan of rock and roll, Jimi Hendrix holds a high place in my mind when it comes to legendary guitarists. The wail of his guitar playing the Star Spangled Banner and iconic riffs of Foxy Lady and Purple Haze are still considered some of the best rock moments of all time, nearly 50 years after his death. Net Entertainment has come out and put through a series of rock slots in 2016, and the Jimi Hendrix slot is the latest to be released into the wild. If you're a rock fan, you owe it to yourself to check out this game.

Jimi Hendrix is a 5 reel, 20 payline video slot that takes on a psychedelic look and feel, with the game's symbols and background presented in a cartoonish way that really stands out. The game's symbols include vinyl records, guitars, peace signs, flowers, hearts, and a few standard slot symbols. Of course, Jimi himself makes an appearance, serving both as a wild symbol and a scatter, both of which can pay off dearly for players. There are also multiple Hendrix tracks in place to listen to as well, including the hits Voodoo Child, Foxy Lady, and Purple Haze hitting the speakers, although unlike Net Ent's Guns 'n' Roses slot you can't control which song is played at any time.

The game's feature set includes a pick'em game, which is set off when three or more scatters are unveiled, wild symbols, free spins, wild reels, sticky wilds, and random wilds. Players can pick various amps and speakers to select which feature is set off, and the picks are completely random. The game has a theoretical RTP of 96.9%, which is pretty good for an online slot.

So if you fancy yourself a fan of music, you should definitely check out the Jimi Hendrix slot from Net Entertainment, as it's a rockin' good time!

I really like this game! I'm not that familiar with Jimi Hendrix and his music, but every time I play this game, it really takes me into this 70's kind of mindset. I really like the graphics, they are very unexpected because of the whole 2D kind of aspect it has. I will for sure keep on playing this game until I get some nice winnings!

It certainly has an art style that you don't see normally in slot machines, so Net Ent's artists should be applauded for trying something different. On the other hand I can see what they are trying to achieve but it doesn't really succeed for my taste.

Also it would have been better if you could choose the backing music like the Guns 'n' Roses game.

The game itself isn't too bad. It has plenty of features but from my limited time spent on it, it looks like your typical "more about the entertainment factor than winning" medium variance Net Ent slot where your money lasts a while but the big wins are few and far between.

I have been playing this slot very much lately. Yeah, some big wins are hard to get.
But, I especially like the small one-spin wins (10~100 x bet) Smile
