Beetle Frenzy is a 9 reel, 5 payline classic slot game developed by Net Entertainment software. The game has three bonus game features - the 'Flower Frenzy' bonus and the 'Bug Collector' bonus game, as well as a Lucky Spin feature. Bet sizes range in value from $0.10 up to $5, and with the ability to wager up to five coins per spin, you can bet as much as $25 each spin.
Net Entertainment discontinued this game on July 28, 2015 so it is no longer available for play.
Although this 9 reel slot game looks like a 3 reel game, all the reels spin independently of each other. The five paylines consist of three horizontal paylines and the two diagonals. There are no vertical paylines.
The regular symbols are the Blue, Pink and Red Flowers, Lady Bug, Milkweed Bug, Stink Bug, Beetle and Mushroom with a lightning bug wild symbol and gold apple scatter symbol. A super win is achieved when 9 gold apple scatter symbols appear. When 9 Blue Flowers appear, it has a payout of 500 times the initial bet. These are the highest wins in this game.
The game has three exciting bonus features: The Lucky Spin Feature, the Flower Frenzy Bonus Feature and the Bug Collector Bonus Feature. The Lucky Spin Feature is activated when either all the four corners or the four middle side symbols feature the same symbols, and the player is rewarded with one extra spin on the middle reel. The other two bonus games are second screen games, and three Flowers of the same color triggers the Flower Frenzy Bonus and three Bug Jar symbols trigger the Bug Collectors Bonus Feature.
