About Monster Mania

We’re not sure if the zany cast of characters in Monster Mania have a name or if the entire gang is related to a movie or TV show, but one thing is for sure: the monsters themselves and the game they feature in sure are fun. This kooky, 5 reel, 9 pay line slot from Microgaming will have you scratching your head while reveling in its wackiness.

Sometimes, one has to take their hat off to the people who create games like Monster Mania. There’s just something that’s undeniably appealing about this animated, monster-themed slot. The slot symbols in this game are downright goofy: There’s a cute monster with one giant eye, a half-eaten apple, a googly-eyed snake, a cross-eyed monster, a razorback fish, bananas, grapes, watermelon slices, a bug-eyed hairball, octopus and scatter brain. The second to last of these is the wild symbol, while –as you probably guessed – the last is also the scatter icon. The music and effects finely complement the icons to create an experience that is truly hard to pull oneself away from.

How to play Monster Mania

Before the fun with these crazy creatures can begin, you must decide how much you’re going to bet. You may wager anywhere between the minimum $.25 bet and the maximum amount of $18. Once you give the ‘spin’ button a click the adventure will begin.

The highest amount that can be won on a single spin in Monster Mania is 1,000 credits. You can win this prize by having five bug-eyed hairballs appear on any pay line that has been activated. Also, you can win a pretty hefty sum by taking advantage of the scatter bonus: three, four or five scatter brain symbols anywhere on the reels will multiply your initial bet by 10, 50 or 100, respectively. Lastly, the octopus with the ‘wild’ in his mouth is, naturally, the wild symbol. He can substitute all icons except for the scatter symbol, but he does not act as a multiplier.
