About Loose Cannon

When you read the title Loose Cannon, you probably thought that this could refer to a whole lot things. Well, it turns out that we’re talking about some pirate ship cannon that is apparently a little bit out of control. Yes, this is yeat another pirate-themed slot. It has two bonus features – a wild that can double as a stacked wild and a random wild, and a scatter symbol that can open the door to 15 free spins. Oh, and there’s a pirate theme here, and that’s always fun!

Loose Cannon information

Indeed, this is a pirate-themed slot game, but does it really feature much that would set it apart from other such slots? The answer is: not really.

Let’s start with the gameplay. Unless one counts the 243 win ways as a separate feature, there are really only two bonuses here: The first of these is a free spins feature that is activated by having the scatter icon (represented by the compass covered by the octopus and its tentacles) appear on the first, third, and fifth reels. This wins you 15 free go-arounds. Aside from this, the wild icon is quite the feature here. It is a stacked wild if at appears on the third reel. It can also turn other icons into wilds at random. All in all, it is solid, albeit unspectacular.

As for the presentation, that is decidedly a weaker aspect of the game here. The graphics definitely appear to be dated. The effects are slightly above average, but not anything spectacular. Perhaps the worst element, however, is the music. We admit we turned it off almost straight away. The button is in the upper right-hand corner if you need it.
