About Jelly Boom
There's something both cute and terrifying about jelly figures to me. Sure, they look cute and taste good, but the idea that they're solidified from a liquid and could just as easily liquefy and drown you. Evoplay Entertainment doesn't see it my way, and instead, they've bestowed on us their Jelly Boom slot, which sees gelatin flowing and living blobs granting you win credits.
Jelly Boom is a 5 reel, 40 payline video slot that takes place in a fantasy land where jelly flows like water and characters fall down a tree. The game's icons are all made of the goo and include an apple, carrot, blueberry, cherry, green blob guy, orange blob guy, blue blob guy, and pink one-eyed blob. There's also a jelly raspberry icon that serves as the game's wilds.
Features include free spins, wilds, and sticky wilds. This is simplistic, but it works because of the cascading reels feature of the game. In this game, winning symbols are paid out and then removed from the reels, with symbols above falling down. This allows you to chain together a slew of different wins on a single spin, which is effectively a mini-free spin. I really like this play feature in the games, as it adds some nice value. The layout of the game and its feature set give this game a posted return to player percentage (RTP) of 96.1%, which is about average for an online slot.
I've put some time into this game and find Jelly Boom to be a fun experience, despite the terrifyingly cute creatures. I had a max win of 2,800 credits on a 10 credit bet, which is pretty dang huge. The cascading feature is fantastic and the free spins round seemed to pop quite a bit for me. The overall experience is great whether you decide to play on your smartphone or tablet, and I had no issues popping from my computer to my phone to catch some spins.
If you're looking for a great cascading reel game, Jelly Boom is a nice option. It looks good, plays nice, and if the blobs don't terrify the crap out of you, you're likely in for a good time.
I played this slot game a couple of days ago, I bet 15 and after half an hour I won $ 47, great for me.
From the first look this game really reminds me of some older Thunderkick games. I tried this game a few days ago and I quite liked it. Payout wise I didn't win much, just one win around 50x, but I did like the colours and the design overall, a nice change from so many dark-themed slots that are out there.
I had some "small big wins" but anyway didnt start to like it. Mostly because I dont like graphics and slow tempo gameplay.
