I hit the Dream wheel progressive 86,000 will I get paid??

16 replies • Last post

So I just hit the dream wheel progressive at lucky creek casino!! I'm now worried about them not paying me!! I just came across a case with a user gemneye I believe and how the withheld paying her because she used 2 bonuses without depositing in between! I have made numerous cash deposits 20+ totaling over 1,000 dollars throughout my time with lucky creek and made a 200 cash deposit right before I hit the jackpot!! Will I get paid or am I gonna get screwed because their terms and conditions???

Generally speaking, I don't think you should have a problem since the jackpot win came from cash (bonus free deposit) but my personal experience with Lucky Creek hasn't been great (but bear in mind it was not a jackpot win etc). Have you contacted their support for your withdrawal? I'm guessing it will be processed in many instalments.

Well, I hope you get the winnings! I do know they screwed someone in the past over who hit the same jackpot you did because they claimed multiple free bonuses in the past. That's BS. Hopefully they treat you right!

I agree with you, I don't understand it, unless the jackpot would be hit from a free bonus etc. But no such thing should apply when player deposits and uses real cash. Fingers crossed the authors win goes well without issues!

Oh no, not again. Look I don't want to be a party pooper and I really hope you get paid - BUT we learned a few things from gemneye's case:

1. If they can find a reason to void your win they will. So fingers crossed you have not broken any terms in the past, even if it was years ago.
2. They only bother to enforce these terms when it suits them - i.e. when someone has a big win and they might have to pay out. If you are breaking the rules and depositing and losing they don't care and will not stop you, but can and will still use it against you eventually when you win. So they are effectively letting you play in a no win situation.
3. If they do void the payout they will keep the money for themselves and will not put it back in the pool for someone else to win.

My advice to you would be to keep contacting them, be polite, and ask what is going on. My fingers are crossed for you.

Update: the jackpot amount is still active in my account and I did just hear from them in which they informed me on how to go about making a withdrawal as well as asked me to send them confirmation documents consisting of a copy of my id and picture of myself holding my id!! I can only assume this is a good indicator!! Also after further reading into gemneyes situation Im a little more comfortable with my situation as I thought she won the jackpot off deposited money only and they withheld because of t&c breach prior to anything relevant to the jackpot! But correct me if I'm wrong but from my understanding the money she was playing on when she hit the jackpot was tied to winnings from a bonus correct??

Sounds promising - keep us updated.

Yes from memory the gemneye case was something like that - we confirmed that she had broken their rules. Our beef with the casino was that they do nothing to stop people from breaking the rules and that the casino effectively stole the player-funded jackpot money for themselves. For example if you're not allowed to claim 2 free chips in a row without depositing in between then why does the casino allow people to do that? Because once you do, even if you are unaware of the rule, you're in a no win situation and they can (and do) use that to void a payout in the future.

Yeah that Is definitely foul for casinos to allow that to happen! I'm not 100% sure how all those terms work but there might have been some preventative measures for that because I know when I did use a bonus offer it wouldn't allow me to play the dream wheel game stating the game is off limits under restrictions from the bonus I used which is why I'm 100% certain the funds I was playing on had no ties to any bonuses because it wasn't even accessible to me until after I made a deposit And was playing on my own funds!! Which was why I was so concerned regarding gemneyes case because I was under the assumption that game could only be played on deposited funds! Maybe that was a feat. Installed after gemneyes case to prevent that situation?🤷 Idk? I just know I couldn't play it on bonus money! I didn't try any other ones but I'm assuming all progressive games were off limit if playing bonus money!!

That's also a common practice for many RTG Casinos. I remember reading terms that no 2 free chips in a row are allowed yet they send them anyway and of course people like free stuff. And once you win, problems arise. Of course not all RTG Casinos use such practice but there's definitely a few.

Congrats on your win, I love coming across these threads where the player comes out a winner. Even better when they could do it with little to no resistance from the casino.
Good on Lucky Creek Casino for awarding that win for Jaytee as well.
