Suggestions thread!

91 replies • Last post

Hi, why not add in shop NDB bonuses on some casinos which powered by RTG(for our USA friends of course). Make the price something like 50 chips, and go? I think we will have more and more people just come and say hello, making posts, etc, and earning free chips in casino? I think this is good way to rewards forum members...
Also, forum main page on site have not so many likes or sharing on facebook or twitter, but this is important! Lets make likes! While awarding members with 5 cl chips for introducing yourself, why not add promo like our page - get 5 or 10 chips? Let people know about casinolistings!

Thanks for your ideas belaff.

We actually did have free chips in our shop a couple of years ago and only 1 or 2 people claimed them. It seems everyone prefers the Amazon vouchers, so we ended up removing them. If you withdraw your CLchips to Skrill, you can use the money at any casino you like I suppose.

As for the likes, we have had a long-standing rule that a like on Facebook gives you 5 CLchips, you just have to come and tell us you liked us! Here are all the ways you can earn CLchips. Maybe there is a way we can automate it.

But judging by your post, it seems we need to do better in communicating this stuff with you all.

okay, i have another idea(ok ok, i see this at other site few times, but this is my idea here!).
On any single casino review, at top of page, we see games available at this casino. Is this possible to make this not screenshots, but picture, on which i click and i turned to the page with this game review and if possible i can play this game for free? I think not so bad idea, but it is a lot of job, sorry Ed Sad

Anything is possible, depends on how much work is required. Wink

The thing with the games is these days it is becoming almost impossible to know for sure which games each casino has. It was easy in the past when a casino was Microgaming or Playtech or RTG only. But now almost every new casino has games from 5 or 6 different developers, and even ones with the same developers have different games. It is hard enough to keep track of which software providers a casino uses, let alone each individual game. A lot of the casinos now pick and choose their games individually so that they only have the best ones or more likely the most popular and profitable ones. So even with our random screenshots that we show based on the software that the casino has, occasionally it is possible that you might see a game that the casino does not have.

In general I don't like game reviews. Most that I have ever seen are just a few paragraphs of waffle that are aimed at getting hits from search engines rather than providing any useful insight into the game. I think the best way of doing that is letting people try the game for themselves which is why we try to add so many free games to the site, instead of having review pages. I do like the idea of having a link to allow you to try the game for free if we have it on site and it should be possible to add that without much effort. Probably the way to go would be to click on the game and you see a screenshot which has a button underneath saying try it for free, or maybe we could even make it so you can play the game right there on the page where you see the popup screenshots now?

Of course you correct that games reviews affiliates did just for SEO, never see really great review of game, just basic info which no one cares Smile
to play game where screenshots pop up, how you plan realise this? There is 3 screenies, and what game will load, i hope you not think about load 3 games in one time? If one at random can be good, but i think just redirecting to another page where user can play game(if user click on screenshot) is much more better and will not load casino review page too much.
Or you want users start complaining that page with casino review loading slow? Smile

I meant when you click on the screenshots in the slider, then it opens up the game rather than the big screenshot like now. But I agree it is probably better to go to the game page because the screenshots slider is random and someone might come back the next day to play the game again and wonder why they cannot find it.

Sorry belaff for not replying to this one. Yes I think we can do it without too much work. I've added it to our TODO list.

tarynchristiane wrote:

We haven't done it in the past because no-one has requested it and I think that most people that can use Neteller can use Skrill too. We can do it though. Its not a problem.

Did this applied to written reviews? How long does it take to get 20 points for review? Sorry for stupid questions!

Sorry about the Ukraine thing - it must be that our IP address database has an error or perhaps it is out of date. We have a limit of 10 CLchips per day for general comments, as previously we had some people sign up and post inconsequential comments on 100s of old threads in one day. The limit does not apply to reviews, and it can take a couple of days to credit you for the reviews as we read each one and check if they are copied from somewhere else.

The full CLchips rules are here:
CLchips rewards program

CLchips for posting in the forum are limited to the forums in the gambling section. Support forums and general chat don't earn CLchips. I suspect that is why you aren't seeing your count go up when you post in this thread.

You can see in the forum index that the top Gambling section says "You can earn CLchips by posting in any of the forums in this category."

Ok belaff I will look into it. We haven't changed anything that would stop it from working but you know how software is, maybe something broke accidentally.

Numb48, sometimes you get lucky and do the orders right after they come in, sometimes you might have to wait a few days. It depends on how busy we are and when we get round to it. We make no guarantees! Wink

Alright, I am fairly sure that CLchips being awarded for reviews are being counted against the 10 CLchip daily limit for general comments on the day they are awarded, which they should not be.

I apologise and I'm working on a fix now.

Ok so this should be fixed now.

Contrary to what I said earlier we changed the way we credited CLchips for reviews last week, and added a link that an admin can click to confirm the review and it automatically awards the CLchips. Previously we manually entered them. Inside the system this meant they were recorded differently and began counting towards the daily limit, whereas previously they didn't.

Sorry once again. I've credited you guys for reporting the bug and I'll try to work out how many CLchips you missed out on that you should have got and square you up.

Okay, now i have great idea!
Why not award each user which created blog post for about 20-50 chips!? I think 1 good and long enough blog post is more interesting that one casino review, it would be great to read blogs from you Ed, from Slim, from our other USA friends, and for sure blog from my european friend mr.ohachek!
What you think?
If this is many chips, let do it 10 or 5, or whatever!

omg, my nickname does not consist of merged words "Mr." and that nonsense-like cluster of letters, that should be somewhat name lol but I appreciate your fantasy, I never even noticed this way of understanding my nick.

Oh, and your idea with blog posts is not bad idea Smile (20-50 chips, why not rather 100? lol 50 is too much imho)... anyway it would mean that there will appear many blog posts from everyone, their quality will fall down very quickly and ... it does not also add that "credit" to entire site, like reviews imho (not sure about this but I guess that many reviews inside the official review indicates many experienced users that together form this community, and site with skilled community is higher rated site .. ? Smile ), and reviews also provide a bit more unofficial view on the casino and subjective of everyone ... so imho blog would not be "paid" that high llike review. However, dont understand me wrong, I woudl also enjoy, if it happens Smile

I love it. I'm calling you Mr Ohachek from now on. All the time! lol

Let me look into it. I think currently you get 1 CLchip for a blog post. We can probably increase that to encourage more, but I'd like to keep it on topic. I'd love for people to blog about casinos they played at, game sessions they had, and also about life away from gambling too. But on the other hand, I'm unsure whether that would be better off in the forums rather than a separate blog section.

The reason we offer the bonus for casino reviews is because that is this site's bread and butter and we want new people who come across the site to be able to get the opinions of more people than just me and our other reviewers. Its also a way for us to keep up with older casinos that may have gotten better or worse since we last played at them.
