Comments For Games?

Funny. I was just going to ask for some new ideas, because I tend to play the same ones over and over at the casinos, and I would like some more ideas. Of course, our games are much more limited than those in other countries, as you know, so we wouldn't be able to play a lot of them that were recommended, anyway, but good idea.

We've considered comments in the past but felt that there isn't much to be gained by posting comments on the games pages themselves. Most would probably end up being little more than "I love this", "this sucks", or "the game isn't working". We have also considered allowing people to upload screenshots of their games but we ideally want a simple "one-click" solution that would take a nicely cropped shot of the game only and not the rest of everyone's computer desktop. But that does not seem possible without making people download some kind of custom web browser plugin that most people won't like. Might be an idea to revisit that then try it and see how we go when people start uploading screenshots.

We have added the ability to score the games with the star ratings and this helps to rank them. So on the main games index pages you can choose tabs that show the top rated games and if you have an account here you get an extra Favourites tab that lists the games you have rated the highest. So rate every game you play and you'll soon have a list of your favourites.

I take your point about sharing a link to a game you really enjoy. Do you want to share with other members here, or outside like via Facebook or Twitter etc?

Yep - I'm looking into various sharing options now. There are a few 3rd party sharing sites that allow you to put a little widget on your page with various sharing services on it. That's the most likely route we'll take.
