Casino Listings bug hunt. Earn CLChips!

Fancy earning yourself some more CLChips?

Did you know that keeping all the review information we have on the site up to date is hard? It takes a lot of time and effort and the more casinos we review, the more time and effort to check that they are all up to date it requires, and so on. So we thought why not try a bit of crowdsourcing and reach out for the brains and knowledge of our members to help share the load?

Thus the Casino Listings Bug Hunt was born.

Here is how it is going to work. Any member who finds a piece of wrong or missing information on a review page gets a cookie. No, not a cookie, 5 CLChips. That's better than a cookie and you can always use them to buy cookies with an Amazon voucher from our shop if you want. I'm sure they sell cookies, they sell everything. Just to make that clear:

Find something wrong or missing = 5 CLChips in your account

Things to look out for in our casino reviews:
- Information in the summary column on the right side of the review pages, such as the software used, where the casino is located, year it was established, currencies, languages, and banking methods used.
- Contact information such as addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for casino support.
- Any withdrawal limits (usually found buried in T&Cs documents)
- Is the review text up to date and accurate in its statement of facts? Note it doesn't count if you just disagree with our opinion of a casino, nor if we have not actually reviewed the casino yet.
- Are we missing any jackpots that the casino offers?

Bonus offers and codes:
- Click "more info" on them and check we have the right wagering requirements listed.
- Are there any sign up bonuses that are wrong or missing? Bear in mind that sometimes you won't see a bonus if it is not available to people of your country.
- Note we generally only list the sign-up or welcome bonus, not the 3, 4, or 5 follow-up bonuses, so no prizes for telling us that we don't have them.

Other bugs:
- If you find a bug in the operation of the site or some other bit of wrong or incomplete information then let us know. We'll evaluate these on a case by case basis.

How to take part
1. Register for an account if you don't have one already.
2. Hunt them bugs.
3. Reply to this thread with your findings.

If you have read this far, then thank you - you are exactly the sort of person who will do well at this. If your eyes glazed over and you stopped reading already then... why am I even writing this sentence?

We will endeavour to pay the bug rewards once per week in a batch so we don't replace one administrative burden with another!

Note to clarify something that has come up a couple of times. If you find a single error that applies to every casino in a large group of casinos, it does not count as 20 errors for example. We'll look at these ones on a case by case basis and decide on what is an appropriate reward but we aren't going to simply multiply your reward by the number of casinos.

Ok...so I know for a fact that I cleaned/read all new posts yesterday.
Today I log in and it shows I have 86 new posts since last visit.
New posts tab only show 10.
I think the ghost of past messages is haunting (taunting) me.

Also...notice that none of these bug posts have been adding to my CL Chips. Balance has not changed. Even my first post re this bug did not add to my CL chips.

Ok first issue re the bug tracker. I think it is working properly. I used my super admin powers to pretend to be you and I see an up to date list, as per the screenshot. I noticed in your original screenshots that if you look closely at the "recent posts" tab, none of them have "1 new" or "2 new" for example in the Replies column. The "New posts since last visit" tab only shows those with new comments in threads that you have not looked at since the comments were added, or whole new threads. So for whatever reason I'm not sure of exactly you were counted as being up to date when you first looked at the page.

Secondly - posts in the support forum don't earn CLchips so that is why your counter would not be going up.

Well the points were just an afterthought that I noticed thinking that every comment gained a point and in this instance the balance had not changed. Not fussed about it really because I tend to read the posts more than I respond to them so my point count is always low.
As for the rest, I will take your answer as its all good and nothings wrong. That I'm not being haunted but rather the sequence of me opening, reading and clearing messages and the updating might just come down to stale cookies and the timing of when I clean those cookies on each visit or thereafter.
Even though I'm old and intolerant and crotchety, I'm ok with it and can live with it now I know how it works. Just sayin...........

I tried the link to EuroSlots and it works fine. I don't know. Perhaps it was a temporary problem.

I've credited you for the Paradise8 one though as it looks like our list of countries was out of date. I know they recently changed hands so perhaps the new operator has changed things.
