Casino Listings bug hunt. Earn CLChips!

683 replies • Last post

Fancy earning yourself some more CLChips?

Did you know that keeping all the review information we have on the site up to date is hard? It takes a lot of time and effort and the more casinos we review, the more time and effort to check that they are all up to date it requires, and so on. So we thought why not try a bit of crowdsourcing and reach out for the brains and knowledge of our members to help share the load?

Thus the Casino Listings Bug Hunt was born.

Here is how it is going to work. Any member who finds a piece of wrong or missing information on a review page gets a cookie. No, not a cookie, 5 CLChips. That's better than a cookie and you can always use them to buy cookies with an Amazon voucher from our shop if you want. I'm sure they sell cookies, they sell everything. Just to make that clear:

Find something wrong or missing = 5 CLChips in your account

Things to look out for in our casino reviews:
- Information in the summary column on the right side of the review pages, such as the software used, where the casino is located, year it was established, currencies, languages, and banking methods used.
- Contact information such as addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for casino support.
- Any withdrawal limits (usually found buried in T&Cs documents)
- Is the review text up to date and accurate in its statement of facts? Note it doesn't count if you just disagree with our opinion of a casino, nor if we have not actually reviewed the casino yet.
- Are we missing any jackpots that the casino offers?

Bonus offers and codes:
- Click "more info" on them and check we have the right wagering requirements listed.
- Are there any sign up bonuses that are wrong or missing? Bear in mind that sometimes you won't see a bonus if it is not available to people of your country.
- Note we generally only list the sign-up or welcome bonus, not the 3, 4, or 5 follow-up bonuses, so no prizes for telling us that we don't have them.

Other bugs:
- If you find a bug in the operation of the site or some other bit of wrong or incomplete information then let us know. We'll evaluate these on a case by case basis.

How to take part
1. Register for an account if you don't have one already.
2. Hunt them bugs.
3. Reply to this thread with your findings.

If you have read this far, then thank you - you are exactly the sort of person who will do well at this. If your eyes glazed over and you stopped reading already then... why am I even writing this sentence?

We will endeavour to pay the bug rewards once per week in a batch so we don't replace one administrative burden with another!

Note to clarify something that has come up a couple of times. If you find a single error that applies to every casino in a large group of casinos, it does not count as 20 errors for example. We'll look at these ones on a case by case basis and decide on what is an appropriate reward but we aren't going to simply multiply your reward by the number of casinos.

Ah yes the problem we had with them is that they do not list which countries they allow or disallow. All we could go on was the registration form and on it you have to supply a mobile phone number beginning with a list of country codes. So we just assumed that only players from those countries could play there. +375 is not on the list so we assume if you are from Belarus you cannot play there. I'll have to contact the casino and try to get an explanation.

A thousand apologies for taking so long to update this thread and credit you belaff. I credited you for each bug you found and threw in a few extra CLchips to say sorry.

We checked with LeoVegas and the list of countries that we have is right. Belarus isn't on it so I guess you got lucky, or perhaps they have changed their rules since you signed up.

strange, but who knows...
Btw, Ed, i would like to see new review on your site - club gold casino. They was PT casino with a lot of bonuses, but slow payouts. Now they changed, it is casino with netent, microgaming, tain games, and they seems really amazing, Also 200% SUB is nice, but there is 5k$ max. wd from it, but rep promise that they will increase it soon + jackpot wins can be withdrawn. Add them please 😜

Thanks. We have been doing a lot of work recently to make sure that the list of countries banned by each casino is up to date. Then we auto-generate the list of recommendations based on our reviews. So if our data is out of date then we can get errors like that. However i have checked the Ladbrokes website and this is what they say:

Quote:

For individuals in American Samoa, Bulgaria, China, Christmas Island, Cyprus, Estonia, France, French Guiana, Greece, Guadaloupe, Guam, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Martinique, Mayotte, Micronesia, Northern Mariana Islands, Philippines, Poland, Puerto Rico, Reunion, Saint Pierre et Miquelon, Serbia, Slovenia, South Africa, Turkey, USA, US Virgin Islands or United States Minor Outlying Islands - we are unable to open accounts.

Poker Restrictions

Individuals in Afghanistan, Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, North Korea, Sudan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are not able to access the Poker.Ladbrokes.com service.

The only place that I see Belarus is in the "not allowed to play poker section". The page is dated May 13 so it is only a few weeks old. I'll send them an email to check, but it may be that you are only stopped from playing poker, not the casino.

Just a little note, what did I just discover - as attempting to write review about 10Bet casino - I think that in the official review on this site, there is missing, that this casino also offers Microgaming slots 🙂

No it isn't missing. We note in the review that they have Microgaming's Quickfire platform which is browser-only. In the list of software it says Quickfire. The reason we list them separately is so that you can tell whether it is a full download Microgaming casino or in-browser one. The Quickfire casinos have a reduced number of games and some have fewer than others, and there are also a few games available only on Quickfire, while on the other hand some people just prefer the full download. This way you are able to tell either way.

Not sure why, but I double checked and they added a few games like Net Ent to both casinos so I've credited you with 10 CLchips. Thanks.

Good catch. I think this is something to do with the new UK licensing rules. I think that they are migrating all their UK players to this one casino. Thanks and +5 CLchips

(do not know if it is a CLChips-able found bug, so let me know, that I will know in future 🙂 )
I found that Sky Kings casino is having incomplete list of payment methods - there are at least 3 missing maybe more - just let me know if you gonna fix that and its worth noticing, OR its just useless. (I was wondering that its blacklisted, but despite that it has got listed its payment methods and another details as well - so IMO they deserve to be updated 😉)
