Casino Listings bug hunt. Earn CLChips!

Fancy earning yourself some more CLChips?

Did you know that keeping all the review information we have on the site up to date is hard? It takes a lot of time and effort and the more casinos we review, the more time and effort to check that they are all up to date it requires, and so on. So we thought why not try a bit of crowdsourcing and reach out for the brains and knowledge of our members to help share the load?

Thus the Casino Listings Bug Hunt was born.

Here is how it is going to work. Any member who finds a piece of wrong or missing information on a review page gets a cookie. No, not a cookie, 5 CLChips. That's better than a cookie and you can always use them to buy cookies with an Amazon voucher from our shop if you want. I'm sure they sell cookies, they sell everything. Just to make that clear:

Find something wrong or missing = 5 CLChips in your account

Things to look out for in our casino reviews:
- Information in the summary column on the right side of the review pages, such as the software used, where the casino is located, year it was established, currencies, languages, and banking methods used.
- Contact information such as addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for casino support.
- Any withdrawal limits (usually found buried in T&Cs documents)
- Is the review text up to date and accurate in its statement of facts? Note it doesn't count if you just disagree with our opinion of a casino, nor if we have not actually reviewed the casino yet.
- Are we missing any jackpots that the casino offers?

Bonus offers and codes:
- Click "more info" on them and check we have the right wagering requirements listed.
- Are there any sign up bonuses that are wrong or missing? Bear in mind that sometimes you won't see a bonus if it is not available to people of your country.
- Note we generally only list the sign-up or welcome bonus, not the 3, 4, or 5 follow-up bonuses, so no prizes for telling us that we don't have them.

Other bugs:
- If you find a bug in the operation of the site or some other bit of wrong or incomplete information then let us know. We'll evaluate these on a case by case basis.

How to take part
1. Register for an account if you don't have one already.
2. Hunt them bugs.
3. Reply to this thread with your findings.

If you have read this far, then thank you - you are exactly the sort of person who will do well at this. If your eyes glazed over and you stopped reading already then... why am I even writing this sentence?

We will endeavour to pay the bug rewards once per week in a batch so we don't replace one administrative burden with another!

Note to clarify something that has come up a couple of times. If you find a single error that applies to every casino in a large group of casinos, it does not count as 20 errors for example. We'll look at these ones on a case by case basis and decide on what is an appropriate reward but we aren't going to simply multiply your reward by the number of casinos.

Hey wildgerri, we tried the search box on a few different browsers and computers and it seems to be working fine. I assumed that it must have been a temporary problem. Do you have a screenshot or more information on what is happening why you try to search?

Thanks sharpe. This goes back to the old problem of whether the casino accepts players or not, not whether a player can access it due to ISP blocks. At the moment we only track the former as the latter is almost impossible for us to keep up with, and they can be avoided with a VPN for example.

Yes I see Ed, I could use the VPN on my tablet trying reaching some of these because my laptop is Linux based and I could only install any software or programs from one particular place so still can't find a VPN program to install and the only way for now is mobile playing and I'm not too fancy about it, but obviously will have to do it this way.

What kind of Linux does it run? I'm currently using NordVPN when I need to and they have instructions for installing on Linux though as usual it doesn't look like a simple process.

It's Linux Ubuntu Ed, Ubuntu is an operation system itself and it's a fabric combination of the two as far as I know so the only place I'm eligible to download is Ubuntu Software Center wich is pretty much like Google play but I didn't find anything that works there.

NordVPN has specific instructions for Ubuntu here. I am sure you would be able to get it to work even if it is not in the Ubuntu software centre, which looks to be some kind of add-on program. As long as you can access a terminal you should be ok. Note its a paid VPN, not a free one.

OK, thanks for your time Ed, I will see what I can do, last time I've typed some commands in the terminal, the laptop should be repaired for most than month 😀 Not a joke 🙂
I prefer a free VPN but if I can't find a way would probably try this one. Thank you.

Try the Opera web browser. It has a VPN built in.

Introduction credits are handled manually.

Unfortunately we have to impose limits on CLchips accumulated by posts to stop people trying to game the system by dragging up old threads, posting off topic comments, deliberately posting multiple comments instead of using just one, and all sorts of other annoying stuff which I am sure that you, of all people, can understand.

Here is 3 errors I noticed while writing some casino reviews:

1. Videoslots accepts players from Germany again since about a month (you might check my Videoslots casino review for details
2. RagingBull does NOT accept players from Germany, I'm blocked when I try to signup because of country restrictions
3. ChanceHill accepts players from Germany, I recently opened my account there and made several deposits.

Hope I could be of help. 🙂

Thanks varver, I have credited you with some CLchips for reporting those.

Tweeksta, I'm looking into that second one. That isn't our fault!

Yesterday I've had downloaded the opera browser and today activated the VPN, it's work great and it's completely free so thanks for the great advice ED, also there's no need of downloading any extensions or something so really a great option for all who need a protection for one reason or another.
