Hi Marg30, I checked our rogue casinos list and a Golden Star Casino is on it. However, I think it is a different site. The rogue listing is for a casino run by a crooked operator known as Gambling Federation or GFed or CGTV Games, which I think has gone out of business. I suspect the domain name is either different or has been sold and recycled.

So I checked it using archive.org to see the history of the site:

- The old GFed site was on the domain goldenstarcasino.com while the new site is on the domain goldenstar-casino .com (note the dash in the middle). So it is a different site to the one on our blacklist.
- In 2011-14 it was some kind of Russian language casino site with most likely pirated Novomatic games on it.
- In 2015 it is a Russian language hotel site for the Golden Star Hotel in Thessaloniki, Greece.
- In 2016 its back to being some kind of Russian gambling site.
- In early 2017 its a new casino site run by Jubise International N.V. which is interesting. There used to be a casino called Jubise Casino that went out of business and transferred players over to another called TTR Casino. There were accusations at the time that the new owner was a well known scammer in Russia.
- Late 2017 onwards it is the site we see now.

On the balance of that I would stay away from Golden Star. Not because of the old casino with the same name, but the more recent connection with Russian sites which are well known for offering pirated games, and especially the link to Jubise Casino which was highly questionable.

I can see that it is a SoftSwiss white label casino. That means it is run on the same system as these other ones that we have reviewed which are quite good:

- Oshi Casino
- BitStarz
- Playamo
- BetChan

They all usually pay withdrawals within a few hours, even as fast as a few minutes if you use Bitcoin. So if you like the look of Golden Star's games I'd try one of those instead.

I played at the above casino and played great 88 which is betsoft i think. Anyhow bet was $15 aud which is the max and landed 3 nuggets so go to the bonus wheel which spins up a few different features. So i landed on the mega wheel which awards 60x bet 600x bet or 6000 x bet. So i waited and lo and behold it lands on giant mega win 6000 x 15 dollars aud. Anyway it pays me 12000 aud. You can see in the attached screenshot of the play history there is more than one anomaly , times amounts etc. Something is very suspicious here. I emailed chat straight away and ask for betting history which she emailed. She said i need to go to the company who runs the slot and the casino cannot help. You can clearly that i was betting 15 dollars and the credit went from 900 to 13000 in a few minutes. Can anyone explain how to go about having the slot operator investigate. All the casino says is you have no unfinished bets. If i had of landed on 60 x bet it would be 900 dollars 600 x bet would be 9000 and 6000 x bet would be 90000 aud. At a 15 dollar bet there is no way that the amount awarded should have been 12000 aud. Surely there is some way to investigate. Cant the casino see exactly what happened during that feature? The casino says it's not there problem. Hopefully I have posted in the correct spot. I look forward to any suggestions and thank for reading

Hi cl-ed thank you for the reply i have posted another thread regardi g same site and a betsoft game which did not pay out the correct amount and what it did pay is no way possible on the amount i was betting. In order to actually have gotten that amount i would have had to be playing $2 which is not possible on that particular slot.
Its too late for me now as have lost literally hundreds of thousands of dollars there. I did not realise they were shoddy

I merged your other post into this thread.

Ok first up we have proven in the past that certain Betsoft games are "buggy", at best inadequately tested, at worst crooked, especially ones with progressive jackpots. If you follow that link you'll also read about a player that was ripped off from a progressive jackpot win on a Betsoft game. Betsoft are bad news.

So don't play Betsoft games in future, no matter which casino you are playing at.

As for your specific question - did you forget to post your screenshot? It would help enormously if you have proof of the bet placed. I've looked up the game and have seen screenshots of the paytable that show that the reward is 6000x your total bet, not just the line bet. So if you were in fact wagering $15 then I agree that you should have won $90,000. The payout of $12,000 would only make sense if the wager was $2.

I really fear for you on this one. Betsoft have proven time and again to be unprofessional, their games are not tested properly, if not outright crooked, and they are not licensed or regulated by anyone accountable. While it is not the casino's fault, at some point these casinos have to stand up and say enough is enough and do the right thing and terminate their agreements with Betsoft. Sadly the last time we caught them out and publicised it the response from both Betsoft and the casinos that offer their games was basically crickets chirping.

On the off chance that someone from the casino or Betsoft contacts you offering to cut a deal, don't agree to anything other than full payment. This happened with the jackpot winner I referred to earlier and he was railroaded into accepting a tiny fraction of what he should have won. They even ghost wrote statements for him to post on forums telling everyone how wonderful he thought the casino and Betsoft were at the time.

Also as you can see in the screen shot even the amounts as they go down the screen are not squaring out ie; 15 dollar bet after the win it jumped from 13012 to 12030! Something is very off here

Actually the amounts do reconcile. The first number on a line is your balance before making the bet, the second number is the balance after, followed by bet amount, and net win.

Therefore: 997.57 - 15 + 12030 = 13012.57

So that proves that you were betting $15 at the time. What it does not prove though is that you triggered the bonus round and won the 6000x reward. Did you take a screenshot of the win?

I don't suppose that you asked for a gift of $78,000?

And what does Gunsbet have to do with any of this? Are they another casino run by the same people?

At this point I think we're going to have to wait and see what the casino says after they speak to Betsoft.

I remember playing at Golden Star years ago. But right now there are so many sites with similar names that at first I thought you were thinking about another one which is a good site. I am sorry that you experienced such difficulties.

I started playing Golden Star 3 years ago. Previously, it was not a bad casino with an excellent withdrawal of money. For a year I have not been playing in GoldenStar. Now I don't know how this casino works. It was very interesting to know that the casino is Russian))). TTR - You can call him a rascal. I heard about him. More precisely, the TTR is a terrible ludoman. He loses everything in poker, and then wins again.)))))) He plays at very high bets. What I heard, I retell you)))

Ok I got some information about this direct from SoftSwiss who I asked to double check the gameplay history. Their results show that you won the "Mega Big Win" for 750x your bet, not the "Giant Mega Win" for 6000x your bet. They sent me the following screenshots to show the game results:

After reading this I am no longer going to ever touch betsoft again, not like I played much of their games anyway. Now I play even less than that. Thanks for this thread, it's a good warning.
