Dinkum Pokies dispute

4 replies • Last post

I'm not happy with the dispute resolution process internally for dinkum pokies and have tried to get a resolution for my dispute.

Management has not contacted me despite my best efforts to resolve my dispute with them directly and I get nothing but vague responses from support staff.

My account was locked as per my request with me also requesting to put notes on my account to ensure it remained locked until after my full payment was received. I also follow up with a confirmation email.

My account integrity was compromised and my withdrawal were cancelled and removed. I came on to chat to request an update on my payment and was told only 2034 was being paid. On chat I asked for supporting screen shot to be emaand literally within 1 minute the chat host could not find it.

I have sent them my supporting emails confing my chat with staff and to keep the account locked but they will not accept liability or responsibility for my account being compromised or resolve my dispute.

I was told it was being investigated by one staff member and came back to live chat for an update only to be told that it's not being looked into until next week.

I didn't receive any confirmation email that my withdrawal was cancelled otherwise I could have contacted the site and intervened.

I'm so sick from stress, anxiety and not being able to eat and sleep.

They are not doing enough to help resolve my disand my emails for updates go unanswered.

I'm at breaking point
Please assist me as soon as possible to get a resolution.

The casino is called Dinkum Pokies.

This is the first I have ever heard of it. Looking it up, it appears to be a newly created RTG casino specifically targeted at Australians. A load of dodgy casinos have sprung up targeting Aussies in the past few months after most of the regulated casinos stopped accepting play from there. There is no information on who owns or runs the casino, nor is it licensed anywhere, so my first impressions are not positive.

What exactly are you saying here Jackpotjassu? Do you think that someone logged in to your account and cancelled your withdrawal? I can't think of a plausible reason why anyone would do that. I guess if someone gained access to your account they would be more likely to cancel your withdrawal and withdraw to somewhere else instead.

Maybe the casino cancelled the withdrawal itself for some reason, which sounds like what has happened when you mentioned that they were only going to pay out 2034 (you did not mention the total). Did you claim a bonus? Sometimes casinos will impose a maximum withdrawal amount when you claim a bonus, though I note in their T&Cs that their welcome bonus does not have a win restriction.

"Dinkum" is stereotypical Aussie slang that is supposed to mean honest or genuine. But not many people speak like that unless they are Steve Irwin or Crocodile Dundee. You know, someone who would say stuff like "Strewth cobber, those pokies at the casino are fair dinkum rolled gold winners." Yeah... no-one I know speaks like that.

Contrary to what they are aiming for, its a big sign indicating that the people running the casino know nothing about Australia.
