Help please! Grand reef casino withdrawal

18 replies • Last post

I really need some help. On the 20th of august I submitted a withdrawal from grand reef casino for $1200. I waited the 5 days for processing and still money was in pending withdrawal. With numerous emails and phones calls to the casino I was told they would escalate the matter and get it sorted.
Then on 9th of September receive generic email stating that due to new gaming laws as an Australian player I was no longer able to play at grand reef casino. I rang the customer help line and was told they would escalate matter and get as manager to email me! Still no email or any response. When I try and call customer help line tonight the number has been disconnected. I have tried emailing them and nothing!! Can someone please help to find out how I can still get my winnings.

Thank you in advance!

Grand Reef is a very shady casino and we have had it blacklisted for a couple of years or more now. From what I have gathered from many repeated complaints about this casino, the normal payout timeframe is several months at least. During that time they will do as much as they can to encourage players to reverse the withdrawal and play some more (and lose it all of course). So at least looking on the bright side they can't do that to you as you are no longer allowed to play there. My only advice is to persist in contacting them and bugging them until they pay you. Don't be surprised if they try to pay you off $500 at a time over several months.

Hmmm ok, it looks like they have completely blocked the website from Australian IP addresses too. It wouldn't surprise me if these crooks used this as an excuse to not pay people. Let me see if I can dig up some details. I'll send you a private message.

I have just seen your problem with Grand Reef, same as mine unfortunately. I have not had any prior issues with the Casino other than generally slow payout so had not reason to look for reviews of the site. Now no email response and 1800 not answering. Its so frustrating but a lesson no doubt to keep in touch with this online forum.

My dealings with this casino has been a very frustrating relationship over a long period of time and was a player there long before I found this site. Yet despite the warnings in this site of them being blacklisted, more often than not I always had good play and decent winnings at this casino.
BUT I was constantly in battle mode chasing my winnings with them giving every excuse under the sun for their delays each and every time.
Admittedly I always got paid in the end but only after a constant stream of emails to and from the pitboss virtually having to beg for my winnings. I pulled away from them completely last Christmas when once again I had to go into battle for my winnings. Enough was enough at that point.

So........my suggestion is to try and send an email to the pitboss at this email address [email protected] and just keep hounding him. Its what I had to do to get my winnings.
I have his name but not sure if I can post it here but anything sent to him gets a higher priority than the support desk offers.
I wish you good luck but be prepared for a long hard fight.

I will also post this note on the other members page who is having issues.
Hope this helps in some way.

I am still not having any luck contacting Grand Reef in regard to my $1000 withdrawal. I have sent many emails through now to [email protected] and another to Mel Taylor who used to be the Manager but this only went to the support desk email. I did try a separate email address I have with a read receipt and this email was read by the pitboss, but as mentioned no responses at all. Is anyone able to help me please?

Ah, Grand Reef is a bad casino. I am lucky not to have chosen this casino among Playtech.

Keep my fingers crossed for you !!!

UPDATE:
As of today I have finally been paid!! So glad that it is finally settled!! I have never received any communication from the casino. I contacted a few different casino overruling bodies and they contacted grand Reef on my behalf. I was not paid in a lump sum I had around 30 transactions deposited in my account ranging from $50 deposits to $25.

Again thank you for everyone's help!! I do hope everyone else with held funds receives their funds and let me know if I can be any assistance.

I'm glad you got paid but what on earth is that all about? I've seen bad casinos drip paying people $200 a month before. But never have I heard of a casino paying out in $25 increments.

Ed in the past when I have had to chase them for my money more often than not I never got a lumpsum payment. They would make payments into my bank account as "refunds" equivalent to dollar amounts that I had deposit over time. So if I for instance withdrew $500 they would "refund" it in identical amounts that I deposited backward till the total reached $500. Arse up way of doing it and in my thoughts it told me they might have been having cashflow issues for them to have been paying out like this. Another reason I stopped playing there.

Oh, congratulations !!!

Their payment flow is very strange, though. I hope that you could find other good casinos for Australians.
Good Luck.
