Game Server Error Issue!!!

12 replies • Last post

Hi,

My related, Jo and I have been experiencing a problem with an online casino about game server error issue that keeps popping up in the middle of the Live Casino Holdem game that we playing. In the beginning, we thought it was a normal software glitch, but along the way it happens too often which doesn't seem normal to me as to my knowledge glitch does happen but it happens rarely and not so frequently like what we are experiencing. A pop out stating "Error (1001) - There is a temporary problem with the game server" happens too often and it happens most of the time when we got a bonus for that game and our call bet is either rejected or not being able to placed call bet due to this error.

Jo and I are living together, therefore we are sharing the same internet connection and we played using our own individual PC. Most of the time we are playing the same game at the same casino together on our PC and when this error happens it's either he got this error pop out, but I don't have it or I got this error pop out but he doesn't have it. This error has got nothing to do with our internet connection as we had already confronted the casino on this game error issue. They said that their provider had already acknowledged this and have said that they are working on fixing them.

Currently we are still having a dispute with this casino as they refused to compensate and refund us our loss on those error games as promised when we had a discussion with their casino manager previously on the issue. They had only refunded 1/4 of all our error games, but now they are telling us that their casino management had changed their mind and made a final decision by not paying us the remaining error games without any valid reasons. There's something which I'm quite puzzled about on this server error that occur which I'm hoping if there's anyone would have the knowledge on the game server error issue please kindly let me know. Thank you!

Why is it that when two individual accounts are playing sharing the same internet connection (IP) but the error only happens to one of the accounts and the other account was doing fine? Oh, btw, I had played at other casino which have the same game, same provider but then I have never encountered such error before.

What game are you playing? Is it one of the free games on our site, or are you playing at another casino site?

Hi, I had accidently pressed the save button while trying to create a new message on the casino help and disputes forum but I have not completed my message yet. Tried clicking on the edit button to complete my message but then I couldn't save it. I encounter this error after clicking the save button so I wasn't able to edit the post. Had just tried editing the post again and succeeded saving it. Thanks

Hi CL-Ed,

May I request to have some private talk with you on my issue for the time being instead of posting it up on the forum. As you mentioned also about some crims that did not like the things being told to people about their casinos. Would it be alright if we talk in private instead? I'm a newbie here and I am wondering how am I able to give you a private message, but I just can't seem to find how am I going to go about it. Will be looking forward to your reply. Thank you!

I have verified your account so you can send private messages if you want. Just click my picture above this post and there will be a "Send PM" link in the panel that slides down.

That first screenshot shows that the error is definitely generated by the game itself, rather than some sort of browser error. It could be due to a networking problem between your location and the casino server. Two users on the same IP could possibly be the cause, but if so it would be sloppy programming from the game developer. The reason I say that is that there are often many people who share an IP address (eg. same business, same school or college) that access online services and the game should be built to handle that situation.

Casinos don't like multiple people playing off the same IP at the same time for a few reasons, for example:
1. Potential for the same person to fraudulently create multiple accounts to claim bonuses many times.
2. Collusion, which could be a small advantage in live games where you could have more information about what cards have been dealt if you are able to see another player's hand.

I don't think the collusion aspect is relevant if you have only been playing a game where one hand is dealt as everybody playing has the same hand.

Most casinos have a clause in their terms and conditions regarding play from the same IP address. Usually it is to limit bonuses to only be claimed once per IP. Those with live games usually will have an anti-collusion clause too. If you told me which casino it was I could check the T&Cs for you to see if there is anything in there.
