Anybody have an opinion of Coin178 ?

5 replies • Last post

Hi, I was given a recommendation to play in Coin178, but there was no review on this site. I don't play on any sites that don't have a good recommendation from this site. Is Coin178 trustworthy ? Thanks alot for any help you can give me.

Well, site looks cheap Don't find any licensing info.
They have aristocrat games on website, and i have doubts about is this really original games.
From me it is now, much more safier to stick to recommended casinos on CL with highest ratings.

Hi Jane, I tend to agree with belaff here.

We have been slowly checking out a bunch of bitcoin based casinos over the past few months. I have been very unimpressed with what I have seen. Many of them operate using pirated games which have most likely been tampered with, which means you can't be sure that you're getting a fair game. In this case the casino offers games from Aristocrat, NextGen, and Amaya (I think), among others.

There is almost no information about who is running the casino. All it says is

Quote:

Coin178 is one of the world's leading online gambling website, based on a legal land-based casino.

I'm not sure if I am mis-reading that sentence, but if they are associated with a legal land-based casino, why wouldn't they name it? I have my doubts as to whether it is legitimate at all and I would recommend that you avoid it for now.

We'll have to agree to disagree on that precious04. Safety is my primary concern and playing at sketchy, unlicensed, Bitcoin casinos is way past my comfort zone.

I agree with Ed on this one, as most of the Bitcoin casinos I have seen aren't all that great and trustworthy, and I have heard lots of bad things about casinos using pirated games. Hence I really need to see a site holding a legit gaming license or numerous solid reviews before I am willing to play at a Bitcoin casino (or any casino for that matter).
