Online Casino Account

4 replies • Last post

Hello,

By luck, I found this good website and am getting a lot of good information.

In some online casinos and their Terms & Conditions,

it say that they will charge a sort of monthly fee ($5~10) if players don't deposit or log in for some period (ex 6 months).

Do they really start to charge these fees and send the bills to the account holders ?

I would be very thankful for any experience and advice.

Thank you.

Hi coolsongss, welcome to our forum. And thanks for the kind words.

The are many casinos that have a term such as this. It is totally unnecessary because if you have an account and you are doing nothing with it, it is costing them zero to maintain. Its just a couple of rows in a database somewhere.

I have never heard of anyone being billed by going into the negative. I believe it is designed to recover positive balances in player accounts that are supposedly forgotten. So if you left $50 in an account and forgot about it, 12 months later you might log in and find there is only $30 left or something. However I have never had this happen to me personally.

Ah, and I checked about this issue with Betfair. They said that yes, they do charge the frees for inactive users on their balance, but, if the players log in, or deposit again, the money is to be refunded.

Thank you Smile
