golden cherry casino frozen bank bad checks

I played and won at golden cherry casino did all the paperwork was sent a check for the first payment of 500.01 it came from a canadian bank in Montreal so when I went to the bank they said they had to do a currancy exchange so I only got 481.00 This payment came on Nov10th 2012 On dec 15 I get a call from my bank saying the check from the bank it was drawn on was now a frozen account and I was debited for 560.00 from my account. I right away get ahold of golden cherry and ask estelle what is going on she says they had a problem with one of there banks but they were doing something different but let me back up after I received the first chech I then received 2 more drawn on wells fargo out of Portland oregon I then got another from a different bank in canada but which said pay in us funds I have deposited those three also. When I am talking to estelle in Live chat she says there could be a chance all three of the others are also no good. On the 18th I get and email from joy in finance saying I hear you have a problem with a checik can you send me a email on what check I am thinking yeah right like you dont know your account was frozen . So I send the info in the meantime my bank calls and says they have the check and I can come get it to hold in case I will need it for further litagation they also inform me that they will no longer accept any checks from me from out of country. I am so mad why was I charged because there accout was frozen they should be charged not me. I won the money fair they should pay fair but my bank says they think it is a scam and that I should invovle the federal Prosecutors I say not at this time I think this can be resolved .So at this moment I am dumfounded as what to do Joy claims she is looking in to it In the meantime the bank has taken 560.00 of my money out of my account by NO fault of mine and now I have to worry that the other 3 checks might also bounce . My bank also informed me that out of country should Pay by western Union or MoneyGram then there is no Problem CAN YOU HELP ME Dale

Dale, so sorry to hear about your dilemma. Hopefully CL-Ed can help out in this matter. What I don't understand is if you only received 481 from the bank why did they take 560? Fingers crossed that this is resolved ASAp and maybe something should be put up on golden cherry's reveiw?!

Tks luckywalker I am not sure but the check i got came in canadain money so out of 500 I got 481 american I told joy at golden that I play in american money I expect to get paid in the same so the next 2 checks came from wells fargo the third again a canadian but it said US funds on it the charged my account because they said they froze the golden cherry account so I say as you why do I pay because they have a frozen account. I recieved an email today from joy at golden cherry heres is what it said Dear Dale

We informed our payment department about the check we sent you on November 1st

They will process to your request

So who knows what process to your request means I told them they can pay me by Western Union or Moneygram but I am sure that wont happen. Also I told them my bank will not accept any checks from me now that are out of country My bank said it looks like a scam 3 checks all different banks two canadian and one american and all signed by different people oh well the fight must go on thanks for your info Dale

Dale, apparently they do have issues paying Americans but on the Golden Cherry review regarding another player they did end up sending a moneygram. A rep from Golden Cherry listed some comments. did you read that link?

Nope I am still waiting they say they are trying to find an alternate way of paying me but still no money. won my money in sept tool a withdrawal in oct I have recieived 3 that were good and Now here it is Jan and the way they pay I still have 8 payments coming It will take them the rest of the year and thats if they ever fiqure out how to pay me What a joke this has become But I am also on other sites letting EVERYONE know of there business practices Been pllaying at intertops and winning and getting paid right away what a great casino too bad GOLDEN CHERRY was not run buy them I would have had my money oh well I shall keep you posted and thanks for helping and caring luckywalker I do thank you alot Cptman

I knew you would be able to help out CL-Ed when you got back from your holiday. I just can't believe it can be that difficult to find a way to pay cptman. I mean there is moneygram and western union.

well here it is March 25th as for golden cherry all I can tell people is that they should steer clear of any site owned by netrad management to include begados and golden cherry they are nothing but liars crooks and theives they pay out 500 a month if your lucky and the checks clear if not you pay the bank for there fees and you get shafted so PLEASE stay away from these casinos or you will regret it Dale

I am so sorry this happened to you. We appreciate you warning others. This is one more reason to play at only well-reviewed casinos and to go to trusted websites that give HONEST reviews, like CL-Ed does here.

Yes we note in our review that these casinos run by Netad Management always seem to rub people the wrong way when it comes time for payment. They are slow and only pay in tiny instalments and it seems they play a never ending game of shuffling bank accounts to issue checks. There are far better options, even for U.S. players.

Oh Dale I am sooo sad Sad Sad Sad that you haven't received your payouts. I thought for sure that you would even if it took some time. A side note question: If you took the checks to wal-mart and cashed them and they were bad would wal-mart catch it on the spot or would they cash it then come after you. That might be a better option (wal-Mart) if they can tell you right up front if its bad and then you wouldn't have the bank fees and such. Just wondering cuz I always cash all my checks from casinos at wal-mart
