Cherry Red will NOT PAY

4 replies • Last post

Cherry Red owes me 1150 from December and will not pay. They offer to return my original deposit but not pay any winnings to me - here's their latest email - it awful:

Dear Ruth,

Your withdrawals that we sent from December has been frozen by the intermediary bank; we have been working continuously to ensure that it is released to your bank account. This is now out of our hands, and would like you to contact your bank and request the payment using the following tracking number FX460651, FX453477

The most we can do now, as a show of our sympathy, will be to credit your account with your last deposit amount made at the casino. Please contact online support to have your account credited.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Kind regards,

Tara Murdoch

Wow. I am sorry to hear this. I wonder how many times we have to hear these stories, yet nothing is done about any of these casinos? I don't know Cherry Red, but I am saying in general.

CL-Ed, if other businesses did not pay their consumers they would be shut down. How do these places continue to get away with this without consequence? Been thinking about that lately. There has to be SOMETHING that people could do to help shut down these dishonest places when there are so many good ones out there. I know CL does their best to warn people, but many find this place AFTER the mistake has been made, and I just feel bad that there seems to be nothing anyone can do about these rogue casinos and others that do not pay or keep their promises.

Amazing! When a deposit is made, money is available in a few seconds, however, many times, the money from the withdrawals stays stucked somewhere at the Bank Of Bad Payers. How that can say "this is out our hands"??? They owe money to ruthm1! Who cares which excuse they are given to him. He didn't got the money, he wasn't paid! Im my opinion, this casino should be tagged as ROUGE!

Hi ruthm1, I am sorry but these guys have been slow paying people for months now. We had another member here who won over $30,000, was named on their winners page at Rushmore Casino (same owners), and yet was struggling to get paid. They did start receiving some small instalments after chasing them up for quite a while.

The last feedback we had about them was that they were paying but at an incredibly slow rate. I believe that they simply don't have the cashflow to accommodate their winners.

That said, have you tried contacting your bank with the tracking numbers that they gave you? If you do, I would not mention that it is related to online gambling if you are in the USA.

I am not making any excuses for this casino as we have been warning about them for months. However that is not actually the case, especially for casinos that still accept American players because of the attempts by the U.S. government to block gambling related bank transactions. Some of these casinos do not receive the money that you deposit until 45, 60, or even 90 days later from the intermediary processing company. So when a player has a big win, they casino is paying the player on credit because they haven't even received the deposit yet. That is one of the reasons so many of the U.S. accepting casinos pay so slowly and in such small instalments. And if the payment processor decides to disappear with the money, the casino can be left having paid a player for which they never received a deposit (it happens).
