But it's not for the reason to have a half man half animal, it's on the Hope's of having animals harvest organs that can later be transplanted into people if need be. If I remember correctly, they were going to implant embryos into rats or mice and bring them to term but terminate them before they gave birth.
For some reason that doesn't sound quite right lol I'm a mover, not a scientist lol I seen this article just a couple days ago, it cant be too far down any lists or menus haha
