The Most Absurd Thing I've Ever Seen

16 replies • Last post

On the suggestion of CL-Ed I spent a half hour watching this Kung Fury movie, which is based on the action Kung-Fu movies of the 1980's. The thing is offensive, gory, cheesy, and insane. I absolutely love it.

Check it out and let me know your thoughts.

High quality cheese! It's all the best bits of 80s action movies rolled into half an hour without any boring bits in between. It is proof that you can actually get something useful from kickstarter...

I thought how can you top surfing on a Lamborghini, but then he surfed through time standing on some old computer.

Did you know the guy who made it (the lead actor) has just gotten approval to make a full length sequel and it will include Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Fassbender? I can't wait!

I want Triceracop to have his own series. I laughed so hard when I saw that.

I think he's still recovering from the pure awesome, trying to let it all sink in.

Lol I got sidetracked with a phonecall yesterday as soon as it started . So I played it just now, and you guys are absolutely right, that is the awesomest short flick I've ever come across lol, is there more like this? I was glued to the screen from the very beginning.
I love the random backup during the final showdown there haha. This movie makes me proud to have been born in the 80's lmao

I knew you'd enjoy that. There will be more coming. He's making a full length sequel with Arnold Schwarzenegger in it.

Also I love the poster for the movie. Its got a bit of a Star Wars thing happening.

Ha I saw that guy too, he was a walking wall of flab. You could hit him a thousand times and he wouldn't feel it. Unbelievable.

I was shocked that the guy was a legit contender for a title! He reminded me of Butterbean.

That movie poster has a bunch of old 80's movies thrown into it I think, it looks familiar. On the right reminds me of that old Masters of the Universe movie with He-Man and that bearded little dude that holds that ridiculous key full of electricity.
Lol or something like that, Beastmaster movies come to mind as well.
