Hello, CL Folks,

How are you all doing these days?
Some members are active all the time, and some are not doing much as before.

How is your life going? I hope that everything is fine with you.

I'm doing well coolsongss, how're you doing?

I've been busy taking my kids all around the state on the weekends to different wrestling and cheerleading tournaments. I'm pretty much a chauffeur at this point it seems!

Maybe Ed went on vacation or something and he just hasn't seen it yet. Have you seen him a DM yet on it?

I think Ed has been on a vacation or busy or something lately so not being so active here as of late but I'm sure he'll take care of that when he's back.

I actually do have a girl that's a wrestler! She's TOUGH, and she's kicked the crap at a couple of boys who thought she'd be an easy takedown!

My cheerleader is my other daughter, and she's getting quite good at it. Her high school coach said that there's colleges that are interested in offering her a college scholarship for it when she graduates in a few years. In the picture I attached, she's the one at the top holding the first place banner they won this past weekend.

I also have a son, who's a twin to my wrestler. He's not so much of an athlete, but he does do Tang Soo Do karate, although not competitively.

Wow..I though I was joking Slim Wink Sorry for that.

Well done to your kids though...I think the sporting activity building the characters and even a work ethic if you will and generally speaking it's even useful thing for just filling the spare time of the children and teens...not going after some bulshit ...it may sound quite old-school or even naive but I really believe that.

Think you have a reasons to be proud with all 3 of them..and rightly so Thumb Up

Just don't mess with your wrestling daughter in a few years time Wink

I'm astonished that you can get a college scholarship for being a cheerleader! But hey you may as well try to take advantage of that if you can.

Oh yeah, her cheer coach told her to get serious about deciding what she wants to do so that he can send out tape to recruiters. Hopefully she chooses to go to a good college that I don't have to pay for!

Hey coolsongss, life has been good as of late. After last year , if things got worse I dont know if I could even get up again. Luckily for me, it's been better.
My ex and mother of my 2 kids have been talking just over the phone the past few months and we have been getting along so well we've decided to give our relationship a better chance this time around, for us and our kids, who I haven't been able to see since July 1st of last year. Toughest thing I've ever been through.
Work is picking up, through my dark times I managed to make a couple good friends as well .

The highlight of all of that for me, is my personal victory in being able to deal with my family leaving, losing my job and almost home within just a couple months time last year, I never once resorted to my past behaviors with substance and alcohol abuse, I stayed clean through all of it.

I'll add to all that with my disciplined play and avoiding progressive jackpots this year is leading to many more days with me cashing out then all of last years total all together.

sharpe, you better be careful buddy, slim wont be the one you need to worry about, it sounds like his kids could woop all our butts in many different categories lol

LoL, You're right Kris..I will watch my mouth from now on Wink

Apparently you've been in a really tough period of your life mate, hopefully you'll able to see your kids regularly from now on..can't even imagine what's is like.

Glad to hear you're doing fine in terms of your day job and gambling and well done for the strong will to stay clean thorough all that mess and the hardship time...that's great Thumb Up

Oh no sharpe, you better hide, you can hide out at my place, it's a couple floors up, although I'm sure the wrestler can throw the cheerleader up high enough for her to do some cool moves and land perfectly on my balcony lol maybe the storage room downstairs would be better, with the cement walls and heavy door with a deadbolt.
Nope that won't work, I forgot about kid karate and the ability to kick through any door.
In fact sharpe, dont come here lol I dont want to put myself in the middle of this bud, sorry.

Hopfully you can run fast and are a master at hide n go seek.

It is good to know that all of you are doing well. And I am very happy to know WaroftheGods is doing well.

Actually, for the last two years starting from April 2017, I had a terrible reflux esophagitis.
The pain was so severe all over my body for about 12 months, and then, I have been very slowly recovering until now.

Pains all over my torso, fearful heart attack like pains a few times, squeezing and crushing headache, every night nightmares like being chased or fighting, etc...

Ahh... In the worst period, I barely managed to wake up and stay awake like no more than 5 hours a day for 1~2 months.

My throat, stomach and nerve system is not that strong and stable yet, but I feel that I am going through the last stage to 100% recovery. It might take some months more, but it will never go backwards, I am sure.

I am alive.

I feel like 95% recovered this days. I feel much better than last December and January.

I still get rather easily exhausted physically and mentally, but it is less than before and I recover much sooner. And I still have a minor chronic headache, but it is much much less than the worst period.
And the pains in throat, stomach, chest and back is a bit there, but it is getting milder and away...

This body state of mine probably sounds scary, awful, terrible.

Now I can tell you that I seriously experienced the near death from a heart-attack pain.

One time, I was in bed sleeping at night, and I woke up at a fast heart beating which happened to me very often. But, I was still in half sleep and half awake with my eyes closed, then suddenly, my heart, whole chest began to pound and pound and exploded like 10 time a second. From the heart and chest, my whole body simultaneously got paralyzed and exploded painfully... I can't explain it in English...

I wasn't able to scream because I couldn't even breathe... It lasted around 15 ~ 20 seconds and stopped right before I got fainted. I just talked myself "Oh, no no, no death... Not yet... Not yet... Not like this"

This level of pain came one more time, but it was a bit less than the first one.

Anyway,

I am so happy that I have recovered this far Joking

Thanks for well wishes !!!

Oh wow coolsongss, that sounds like you have been through one hell of a war for a long while now. I couldn't even imagine having to go through something like that, very admirable hearing you go through that and are on the way up in positive spirits. An experience such as yours would break most people, you must have a good heart to keep pushing through.

I hope as you say you will never go backwards in this and you get to live the rest of your days in good health as it sounds like you have been through more then your fair share. I'm happy you're doing better these days.
