I'm a huge video game nerd, and I've been that way since I got a Nintendo at age 4 in 1988. It's turned into one of my hobbies as an adult, and I continue playing to this day, with a PS4, Xbox, and Switch in my household. Needless to say, I love playing video games. Does anyone else here play, and if so, what are your favorite games of all time?

All of those are great franchises. I wrapped FF7 remake yesterday and absolutely loved it. I recommend it to anyone, although its best if you played the original first.

Do you have a Switch, WavesFrog? Mario Kart on it is fan-freaking-tastic.

My wife has gotten into Call of Duty. I work from home so sometimes I'll hear shooting and explosions and know its my wife shooting some baddies.

Haha imagina having a video/ skype call with a colleague with the shooting sound in the background! Would have some explaining to do then 😂

I love some Mario Kart but as I was one of the 25 people to buy a Wii U and played it a lot on there, I haven't picked it up for the Switch because I read that it's more or less the same game with a few extras.

The Wii U is so underrated. It has loads of good games and the extra screen on the gamepad means you can play off screen while someone else watches tv. My kids have actually got it out and running again over the past few weeks and they are doing Wii Sports challenges and daily fitness tests (in the loosest sense) on it.

The Wii U is said to be a hot collector's item in the future, as there weren't a ton sold and the games are still semi-easy to find right now. Hold onto that console for sure. I liked the Wii U a lot, and you can see how it was the precursor to the Switch in so many ways.
