A Funny Nicknames

43 replies • Last post

Hey guys,

I just wondered if any of you have ever had a funny (or weird) nickname(s) the way you've been called by your friends or relatives,or maybe some of your mates got one, I've never had one so probably I'm a bit jealous about it πŸ˜‰

Maybe I'm just too boring of a person for a nickname πŸ™‚

For example some of my friends being called the Jackal, Boby the turbo and the Blot...yeah not exactly a sophisticated company there πŸ˜€

I'm also curios what's hiding behind your CL username, ...if you're ready to share that info of course...since we have a funny sounding but probably a mysterious usernames like Eljuno or vomvom12 here πŸ˜‰

Mine is pretty banal to my favorite childhood footballer Lee Sharpe.

I'm afraid my real name couldn't be pronounced with ease by most of the English speaking so I'll keep that in secret for now πŸ˜‰

Hi sharpe, interesting thread,

To be honest, Eljuno is the name I used when I first played online games and at that time I liked playing "Point Blank", I was lucky enough with that nickname, so when I was confused looking for a nickname while playing slot I decided to use the same nickname, and if may I mention my real name is: Arditya Budi Lesmana 🍺 ,

How about you ?

Hi Arditya, nice to meet you buddy πŸ™‚

By the way Budi is a cool middle name I think πŸ˜‰

Yeah I kind of have the same problem when I have to think of a username registering at some sites so most of the times using one and the same, just like you.

Is Eljuno means something in particular in Indonesian or any other language?

By the way I'm Stanoev, Ivaylo Stanoev...you know like Bond...James Bond πŸ˜‰

But my friends use to call me Ivo.

A nickname in high school for almost 2 years, and I'm so happy that's all it was used for lol was Shrew, yep, exactly like the animal haha. I didnt hit puberty until almost grade 12, so I was by far the smallest guy around, so they dubbed me one of the smallest animals around.

WaroftheGods is easy to explain, a buddy and roommate at the time sat down to play Borderlands 2 on the PS3, I left the room for a couple minutes while he set up the game, came back and he had chosen my user name for me, WaroftheGods.
It's a name I have found available on any site, casino, game and everything in between. I use the same avatar picture wherever I can also.

Hi Ivaylo Stanoev, sounds very familiar to me and I think it's a great name, and thank you for your praise of my middle name, and just information on the name " budi " in Indonesia is the most widely used name, and I myself have a friend named "budi" more than 20 people.

For Eljuno nickname I was inspired by one of the keyboard music companies at that time they created their product with the "JUNO" series, because I also had a hobby playing the instrument so I used that name which I gave "EL" on the front, so if viewed in terms of language or in terms of terms in Indonesia the name "eljuno" does not contain any meaning, but I don't know about other countries ...

A nickname that comes from giving by friends and unexpected becomes a historical thing, and I'm sure you are lucky enough with "warofthegod",

And I should have to find out your real name, or I would be happy if you told us, because I was quite curious ... Haha πŸ˜‰

Lol Eljuno, not all nicknames that come from friends are good, short story.

Same kind of scenario as my WaroftheGods story, different friend, at a bowling alley on our way to a buddy's wedding, he says to me, you grab some drinks, I'll set up the game for us. No problem right haha, when I got back he could hardly contain himself.
Up on the screen, above our lane, there was my friend " T.J." and right below that, for me he types out, in big bold capital letters " ASS FACE " bhahaha,

My names Kris by the way Eljuno

Indeed, most and most friends give nicknames that are quite bad and sometimes ridiculous, even in my country which is also more extreme to give a nickname someone, I find many nicknames that have the same meaning as "ASS FACE" maybe even worse ...

Good luck kris... πŸ‘

Nice story for the nickname, do you still playing?

LoL, Where to start Kris...firstly I'm really sorry for calling you Chris a couple of times here before. πŸ™‚

Definitely WaroftheGods sounds a lot more solid than Shrew... πŸ˜‰

You've said WaroftheGods has been available everywhere but I'm sure ASS FACE would of been too.. especially written capital letters πŸ˜‰

I don't know I would of been in two minds which one to choose πŸ˜‰

That's a fun story there Kris πŸ‘

interesting discussion. Some people begin to show their identity. Even so, I prefer to hide behind my nickname because in my place of residence gambling is a disgrace.
If found out I have to enjoy a terrible 6 months behind bars

Hi mate, what about your nickname...how come you're choosing it at first place, any particular reason?

My nickname is related to my profession. I am a Snake farmer so they started calling me boss ulo. Ulo in English =Snakes.

We Never advantage over the farm except for a few large snake bites πŸ˜€

I use the name to register on everything including online casino and more 🍺

Hi sharpe, yeah for now I have decided to stop playing point blank because I don't have enough time to play it, and the most supportive reason is that I no longer find passion with it ...

I see something a little strange when trying to find information on a search engine, because I find in the top results in search there is one site that exactly matches your nickname "bossulo", is there a connection with you, I have screenshooted from the search results 🍷

right that includes. Sometimes I write my experience in several places. So I started making blogs to look cool and believe me I never knew how to take advantage of that.

I didn't expect you to be very excited to find it. I hope you are not someone who is hunting me to be arrested.

Hahaha maybe I need to change the name. Just kidding πŸ˜€

Oh god, is that real?
How do you do that, because after I checked the site was quite good at navigation, and I thought it was hard work, ... Haha,

in fact, at first I did not directly find the idea to write bossulo, but just flowed when I found one of the articles coming from that site,

Are you still doing that?

Yes sometimes. But I often do other things like writing here for example. Besides that I was busy lately so I didn't have time to take care of him.

It seems that I will leave it for a long time. Because I started to find luck while playing slots

so what is my nicname here vomvom12 about ?
it was the name of a austrian music project....but that is actually written that way: voom voom

and on of my nicnames a friend gave to me was: mecker krinz
let me explain...
my real name is christopher or short chris and the friend of mine who gave this
nicname to me loves to change the names of all his friends so first chris became krinz.
and at that time 25 years ago i always bitched around at everything
and the german word for bitching or gripe is meckern und so wurde aus chris ...
der mecker krinz
and that nicname lasts for at least 3-4 years

Wow..You also like to compose musics with software, ...? And I just heard about ABLETON Live, whether the software is good enough to use and if you can explaining what you think about the software itself.
I also used software frutyloop but now I also realize that it's not easy to be a composer ..

well if you like to produce some music with your pc or mac i highly recommend
you to try ableton ....i have tried the most digital audio workstations like cubase, reason, fruity, loops
reaper, presonus studio one....but nothing is like ableton.
it is so flexible and innovative...it would take too long to list all the powerfull features
if you like to try it then read the private messages i have send to you
