Hahahah that captures a complete absence of a sense of humour and misplaced paranoia about terrorists in one perfect story. Is it real or something from the Onion?

I think the dude needs to work on his delivery. Maybe use the word "destroy" next time to avoid any ambiguity... as in "I'm going to destroy that toilet, don't go in there for at least half an hour after I've finished".

Oh man it is actually real. Actual quotes:

https://www.kansas.com/news/local/crime/article226203520.html

Quote:

The man reported to police that he was in the bathroom stall when he heard another man announce something along the lines of, “You all need to get out of here because I’m fixin to blow it up.” It is not known who said that, according to the report.

The man said that he and another person laughed because they understood the warning. He said they understood the man “was in a serious need to defecate, and that he was attempting to provide a polite warning to the other patrons of the bathroom,” an officer wrote.

The “regular customer” told police he was trying to be funny when he gave the warning to another man — the store employee — in the bathroom. He said he didn’t know the “men’s bathroom humor ... was taken so seriously.”

Do you think he's "washed his hands" of that phrase?

LOL. Let's hope so!

The best part is that no-one knows who it was that was "fixing to blow it up". He got away scot-free and is able to walk the streets and terrorise other public toilet users around the neighbourhood. Remain vigilant citizens! If you smell something say something!

Oh my goodness this is hilarious! But to be fair I would never catch myself in such situation as I wouldn't say a phrase like that under any circumstances!

Haha, you'd be surprised at some of the stuff people say here when it comes to nasty bathroom stuff. I used to work in a plant and there was a 60-ish year old gentleman that was washing his hands and commenting on what he just did in a stall, saying it was "like a Tommy gun going off. 'gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat, gat!'"

So gross!

Bwahahaha holy sh** , pun intended, the poor guy is probably so embarrassed now hes locked himself in his own bathroom at home lmao haha. In Canada here, there is a lot of ignorant people to say the least, and with all the people fleeing their homelands over seas in fear of their lives and family's lives , so many have ended up in the major cities, Calgary included . If a man yelled something like that these days there would be mass panic for a short while. Sad but true.
So I'm so happy this story happened there, because it let's it be hilarious lol
