What kind of Gambler you are?

17 replies • Last post

I mean..are you going for the big one (potentially the hit that 'd make you feel like you're on a vacation for the rest of your days Smile ) and if I could say it that way - could allow you to be financially independent once and for all, or you prefer the supposedly more "safest" approach of let's say chasing a smaller but more frequent winnings which suppose to keep your balance relatively neutral and even in the 'green'... if that's possible at all Smile

And isn't that the ultimate question for any gambler anyway, no matter of the exact way we're in fact gambling, isn't it finding the right balance between those two options(or maybe the combination of both) what we should all looking for while gambling!?!

Personally I think it 'd be tough for the long term everyday gambler to stick to the first option without having any gambling incomes meanwhile...I've had ever been money for value type of gambler...but maybe I'm wrong?

Tell me why...

I'm definitely after the smaller, more achievable winnings. And playing for a bit of fun and enjoyment of the games, not for an income. I don't think I'm lucky enough to win a multi-million progressive jackpot.

A long time ago it was actually profitable to play with bonuses at loads of different casinos. The wagering requirements were too low and I made quite a bit playing mainly games like Blackjack and Video Poker. But of course that was never going to last and the casinos got smarter and raised all the wagering requirements.

I'm the type of gambler who will only splurge once in a while to play blackjack. I generally stay away from slots, but once in a while I'll see a game that draws me in and I'll get in on the action.

When I play blackjack I try to play multiple hands at low amounts in order to mitigate some of the risk.

One day I'll be rich enough to be a high stakes player and not worry about the smaller bets!

Actually, I much prefer Live Casinos to slots and other games.
Among Live Casino, roulette is my most favorite game.

I think that I play for big wins all the time. And I usually take some days to weeks to cool down occasionally.

i am a low roller playing slots most of the time...playing for fun but i definitely
have an eye on a positive end result...
always try to claim the best bonus offers and always check the the RTP % befor i
try new games/providers to increase my chances
i dont believe in that "life changing" progressive jackpot win so i try not to play any
game with high jackpots because of the lower RTP %

I am the type of gambler who spends my time playing slots at night and sleeping during the day. I don't know, it's complete, I feel addicted to cigarettes, coffee and gambling. Luckily I don't drink alcohol so my sanity is still left. lol

So my activities only play on subscription sites that give me 50% up to 350$ with 15x requirements before withdrawal. I chose them because they were fast in withdrawals and I was free to use the money in any game, after there was no max bet in playing.

So I only need to sit there with 700$ each day losing or winning. Not infrequently they make my pockets run out.

Well, I think that's my way of life.

Well...in fact I'm surprised to read that most of you guys don't count on the slots as a preferred gambling method as they suppose to be for every casino out there.

And one other thing comes into my mind...no one going for the big one except for coolsongss...well at least we''ll know who the next CL -Jackpot winner would it be Smile

I was the same gambler like Bossulo. Coffe, cigarettes, slots and no alcohol:) But also i was going at job and never missed it because of the gambling. I remember i was playing at land based casino at 6:50 am and even i was on dramatic bad or good strike i always was at my work at 7 am.
But lately i started to change my gambling style. I lived in Cyprus for six months and didnt gamble at all. When i came back i started to take interest to become a professional sports bettor. I play slots also but just with good casino bonuses and not so often. I try to look at this just like at fun. History showed that to be in profit playing slots in the long term is impossible. But its good option to become richer in the short term. For ex. to make from 20 eur - 500 eur. Its not a miracle.

Also i want to add that my dream is to start live from gambling money. I want to turn my passion into activity which brings me benefit. Also i think that i am addicted to gambling. I dont have social problems because of this, i can control this but i know that life without gambling at all looks grey and boring.

i never bet on sports or even us the freebets you get from time to time because i have
no clue at any sports except skateboarding
and unfortunately you could not bet on skateboarding ...which wouldened
make any sence like in other sports like tennis or soccer...

soccer. tennis. icehokey, football, basketball, or any other kind of sports either it is boring
or i hate it...

i have a good friend who is into any sports even if it is tabeltennis or some other
nerd sports....he is intrested in every result...and he also knows everything
about it ...backround infos etc.
i realized that with his knowledge about all that sport bullshit
i could make some very good winnings

Being a professional sports bettor is equally tough as make your living through any other way of gambling activity. I think..yeah of course you can count on your knowledge compared to the completely random ways of gambling I guess...but the main thing is the discipline and make sure following the basic rules you're know are the winning ones...sound easy,...it's not really.

I'm mainly a sports-bettor...for one or another reason I've not had an occupation for the past 5 years and the betting incomes(if there's any) have been really vital for me during the period...if that makes me a profi..I don't know man...just trying to survive these days...but I've had one really good year 5-6 years ago so I still didn't manage to use those funds for gambling/living...although I've been on the downside every since.

So good luck to you mate...and try to be a s disciplined as much as possible if you're really after a sportbetting living incomes.

Yeah I feel the same as you mate when it's about gambling and the relation of it to the life generally...but the things could get quickly out of control...stay safe Thumb Up

Yeah..that's weird really...you could bet on all kind of stupid activities these days...even when exactly Trump is going to sneeze I guess, or to the any kind of the video games being played out there but not in fact on a sport which is official...I think that's going to be changed in future or maybe there is some of the bookies already accepts a wagers on skateboarding?
Never checked that to be honest...

Ha-ha...wouldn't even thought of half of those...well many probably would be frustrated to see that list lol

Skateboarding have to be considered as an Olympic sport already as it will take part at the next Olympics as far as I know.

My vote goes for the tip kick to be an Olympic sport lol

Well, because I only play in slots, I often play with low bets, because for me slot games are very fast, I mean fast increasing and rapidly decreasing, so I have to see how the slot game runs at the beginning, but I just keep myself not to be addicted to high stakes, I am quite addicted to gambling, if I add to the high betting addiction I am sure my level of health is deteriorating, I am not joking because some times I am quite stressed with gambling ... So for me for now play for fun with low bets..

when i think about the crazy development and progress skateboarding has made
over the last 20 years...everything has changed ...the hardware ...and whith this the
technical possibilities of new tricks has explode
every time i see a new skatevideo part i think...thats it the summit is reached...it could not get any
harder then that......until I watch the next video

Yeah I'm sure, when I've been watching the snowboard half pipe event at the last winter Olympics earlier this year Shaun White said he's getting prepared for the skateboarding events at the next summer Olympics which is 2020 - Tokyo.
