hi there
here i will post about my favourite tv shows and shows that i am currently watching.
i like a bit of everything as long as it is entertaining.my favourite genres are:
science fiction, drama, thriller, crime, comedy and strange/bizarre stuff.
feel free to post your favourite shows or a entertaining one you

1.The Handmaid's Tale
this one totally blew me away and kickt "Breaking Bad" from from first to second place...
if you like stuff about dystopian future scenarios this one is a must see for sure
such a amazing acting by Elisabeth Moss

2. Breaking Bad
a chemistry teacher diagnosed with lung cancer...get into methamphetamine
business to secure his family financially...
great crime story...absolutely thrilling..amazing cast and acting

3.Black Mirror
each episode is a self-contained story from a different director
it is dark, bizarre, intelligent, socio-critical and
almost all episodes has this science-fiction touch......watch it

4.Hannibal
i am a big fan of the original movie "the silence of the lambs"
first i thought...that can only be bad
but i was totaly wrong...the tv show is almost as good as the movie
and mads mikkelsen is the perfect hannibal lecter

5.Game of Thrones
you can think wat ever you want but if you have`t seen it
it then you should. it is great from top to bottom

We do have another long TV thread somewhere, not sure if you missed it but here it is if you want to take a look.

You look to have similar tastes to me. I like all those shows aside from Hannibal which I have never watched. I'd rate Black Mirror as the best of the lot, though it depends on the episode I suppose.

Supernatural, that's my all time favourite show. I haven't seen the final season yet so please people no spoilers or at least a spoiler alert would be more than appreciated lol.
I haven't had cable or satellite TV or any variation of the sort for many years now, I'll get a cheap package for hockey most winters, and always have Netflix.

Has anyone started Daredevil season 3? I am amped for it, but by the time I sit down to watch it in the evening, I fall asleep. I've heard good things.

i saw some episodes of supernatural some years ago but that kind of fantasy, horror, mystery show
is not my cup of tea. the show must be still very popular and i was very surprised after
imdb (internatinal movie data base) told me that there are already 14 seasons 300 episodes available...
wow

the last horror mystery tv show i realy enjoyed was "Stranger Things" it is on netflix...check it out.

i am not a big fan of all that marvel superhero stuff at all and i saw the Daredevil movie with ben afflack
from 2003 which was extremly bad...but i heard that the tv show should be quite good so i will give this one a try soon.

Punisher was actually an offshoot of Daredevil season 2, so if you like that, you'll probably enjoy Daredevil.

hahaha...yeah Antom1943 a good point...
i watched it...all 60 episodes it was quite good but not that
good to enter my top 5

i mean in the end, only the personal taste counts
and you cannot argue about that...
most people would say i am nuts because i give "the sopranos"
2 from 10 stars at imdb but for me it was only one thing...boring...
boring...boring

cheers

I've been catching up on The Walking Dead season 7 I think I'm on, I won't give away any spoilers here, but that is one show I'm absolutely hooked on, then an episode comes along, and I think, well that is stupid, why would they do that? Then by the end of that same episode, I can't wait to watch the next one lol
The writers of that story/show in my books are some of the best

I used to watch it but I gave up on the Walking Dead a few years ago. I guess I couldn't get past the "this is stupid" moments you described. The old teleporting zombie that appeared out of nowhere to munch on someone's neck was one they overdid too many times.

for me "the walking death" is the perfect example of a scenario through which
some good tv shows are totally screwed up at the end...
it is called "vertical storytelling" and it means ...more complex plots more protagonists more storylines etc.

although vertical storytelling is what mainly makes the difference between
old school and modern tv shows it could end up in a dilemma if there is too much of it...and less
horizontal storytelling which pushes the story forward

and then you saw a hole season of the show and you have the feeling
that nothing really happened...i hate that
hahaha....nevertheless, i've seen all the episodes so far

cheers

Yeah I got the feeling that there was not ever going to be any resolution to that story. There's no miracle cure coming or anything like that. Everyone either ends up dead or a zombie or both!
