An Embarrassing Lesson

32 replies • Last post

I have an important and embarrassing lesson that I learned the other day so that you all can laugh at me.

The lesson is: "No matter how good you wash your hands, never, EVER go to the bathroom after cutting jalapeno peppers."

Have you had any embarrassing lessons that you've learned over the years? If so, let me know below. πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚

Never EVER drink 5 cups of coffee before going scubadiving to 30 meters wearing a dry suit... πŸ˜‚

Ha-ha, yeah that should of been..hot Slim πŸ˜‰ ,

When I was about 9 or 10 y.o I've once just held a few chilli peppers (never meant to eat them at that age of course) which were extremely hot and after that rubbed my eyes a few times...than I couldn't see for almost a whole day and I cried like...maybe never in my life again.
So that was a hard learned lesson but now I'm careful with those...most of the times I'm even avoiding too peppery of a dishes cause it's just too hot at the back end 🀒

But I think you know what I'm talking about ...after that "incident"

Yeah, I completely know what you're talking about. I was genuinely worried that I was going to have to go to the hospital. It was that bad. Pouring milk on it didn't help, either!

BWAHAHAHAH AHAHAHAHAHHA HHAHAHHAHAHA. Instant Casino Listings classic thread right here!

Dare I ask where exactly you felt the burn, and where exactly you poured the milk? Actually no I changed my mind I don't want to know. The mystery is funnier.

Aaahahahaha, I'm so glad I decided to read this thread lmao,I needed a good laugh like that in a very big way. With a bit of thought I'll try and come back with a costly lesson of my own, I know there must be a pile of them but off the top of my head I cant think of any at the moment.

Hahaha, it's all good sharpe. I figure the best way to deal with an embarrassing situation is to deal with it head on. I should tell you all that despite me being in agony for a good while afterward, I still ended up eating the jalapeno poppers. The pain in my mouth was much more bearable than the pain down under!

Just picture the scene... slim screaming in agony and Mrs slim runs in to the bathroom to find him standing there, pants down, milk in one hand, and white stuff splashed all over the place. "Uh honey... really... uh these Jalapenos really burn!"

Ha-ha, you've got a sick imagination Ed 😜

Probably it wasn't so dramatic..right Slim?

But that could be a good script for a movie...I'm just not sure about the genre..comedy...or a horror?!? πŸ€”

Once I saw a pregnant woman slip and fall on a tiled lobby. We all rushed to her aid. One man said, "since you're pregnant, you might want to go to the hospital to get checked out." The woman said, "I'm not pregnant."

That day, I learned to never assume someone is pregnant just because you think she is.

Ouch, that's a bad one!

I do have a similar story from the days when I was working at the Teddy bear store. There was a big burly man wearing a Navy tshirt, complete with the big anchor cross tattoo on his lower arm. Voice deeper than James Earl Jones, and some facial hair. He ordered a bear, so I was filling it up for him. After I got it done I said, "You're all set sir."

The response? "I'm a ma'am."

I about died.

Haha, that remind me of an episode in Riga....
Lets first explain one thing about Riga.... Im an Norwegian that lives about half the year in Riga. And there is one thing about that city. The girls in Riga are the most beautiful you will probably ever see. Walking true Old Town in Riga by night is like walking true the evolutional heaven, no matter where you look you feel ashamed of not having sunglasses. (Dont get too high on yourself if you reed this blck 😜)
When that is said, In one of the main bars I go to there is usually 2 female bartenders working (also pretty). One evening I came there they had a new bartender. This time it was a man, with big overarms, broken nose and scars in his face. So I thought, well they finally figured they needed someone to throw out some bullys. I did not think more about it, and just continued to go there in the weekends, and the new bartender seemed like a very nice guy, despite his though looking face and big overarms. Then one day when I sat there with some other regulars, solving world problems and drinking vodka, someone spoke about the bartender as "her".... It turned out it was a girl who happened to be a former professional boxer, so I`m happy I never said "sir" to her 😜

Ha-ha, nice stories guys...this a hilarious thread and it's a bit weird one too...all started with an "innocent" jalapeno incident after all.. πŸ™‚

I guess the lesson from all that should be ...wash your hands after and..before going to the bathroom kids...o, and also you could end up on the floor despite trying to be courteous calling someone Mr or Miss.

Are they the most beautiful female boxers also in Latvia, Caliber? 😜

Similar story to Slims there, a few of the guys and I were leaving a concert late at night, T.O.O.L , so we were pretty intoxicated by then.
Well we're walking to the ctrain when we spot this cute little honey in front of us a ways, long blonde hair, these nice little daisy Duke cut off jean shorts. So of course the comments started flying out there, I would take her home would you , oh absolutely.
No sooner did we all agree she was worthy enough to take home, I may add at this point we've caught right up to her. She turns around because she could hear us loud and clear from such a close distance, and all of us were shocked, full mustache, goatee, sideburns, there was no mistaken, this was 100% dude lmao.
We all looked at eachother and my one buddy, says ok boys, let's never tell anybody about this, everybody agrees real quick except for yours truly, as I was still laughing, I looked at them all and said, no way, I'm telling everybody about this lol and I haven't been shy to bust that one out either lol.
