Question for the Gang...

8 replies • Last post

Hey everyone,
I have a question for anyone who may know the answer...
I have a MasterCard debit $25 gift card, and I have no real use for it. Do any of you know if it can be used to purchase Bitcoin, or either used in any legit casinos that accept U.S. players? It states that it can only be used in the U.S. so I have a feeling I'm out of luck, but I figured if there is an option, this would be the place to find it.

Thanks in advance,

Todd

I can't say for sure but I do think you can use it. Maybe not for bitcoins but for just depositing?

But I actually think you could buy bitcoins, I can't see why not, but unfortunately I can't be a big help as I don't play with bitcoins myself.

Thanks for the input! I don't particularly want to use Bitcoin, but I can't find a casino that's US friendly that accepts it. If you come across one that you have faith in, I'd appreciate the info.
Thanks again for the reply.

You could always go to Coinbase to see if you can purchase with it. I have bought using a credit card there in the past, but I don't know if it will work for pre-paid.

Probably worth it try buying some bitcoins and then deposit those to a casino but I'm not sure it would work man, it just sound like a more likely option to me, hope you'll find a way to spend those, if not working with a casino or coinbase you could always purchase an item I guess- something nice worth not more than 25$ - that should be a tough ask Wink

Actually I would stay away from Coinbase if possible. From what I have read it is constantly having issues caused by rapid growth with things like slow support, technical problems, and even the U.S. govt subpoenaing them for transactions records.

Always play it safe! Consult our list of rogue casinos and warnings before depositing.

I use those gift cards all the time , specifically at Karamba casino and any of the Casino Rewards Group casinos, if you have any doubts , you can always go to customer support at your go to casino and ask them directly. I had one casino black list me for depositing there with one of those cards. It's always better to ask the specific casino before hand.

Don't worry until you have to, and you'll live life with less stress

Skrill is the best way to deposit/withdraw, now sure can be used with gift card.
