Speaking of TV Shows....FARGO!!!

4 replies • Last post

I just had to break down and start my own thread on one of my new FAVORITE TV shows: Fargo!

Oh my gosh, this show is amazing! Fargo just wrapped up Season Two, and when a show comes out as strong as Fargo did with Season One, Season Two is always a worry (see: True Detective, lol), but Fargo did not disappoint!

If you enjoy Coen Brothers movies and if you liked the movie Fargo, and you have not watched the TV show, "Fargo," then you are truly missing out!

I don't have much time, so you won't have to listen to my ramblings, because once I get started on this show, I will not stop, lol, so I will just say, check out the IMDB page and try to stay away from any spoilers and start watching this show!

You can stream on Amazon or find for free on other streaming sites (but beware adware if you go that route), and I am sure you can also purchase season one and season two now.

With actors, from SEASON ONE, such as Billy Bob Thornton, Allison Tolman, Tom Hanks' son, Colin Hanks, Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul!), Martin Freeman, Keith Carridine, Adam Goldberg (comedian), Oliver Platt, Jordan Peele, and Keegan Michael Key (of Key and Peele fame)......

AND

Actors from SEASON TWO, such as Kirstin Dunst, Jesse Plemons (of Breaking Bad fame), Patrick Wilson, Ted Danson, Cristin Milioti, Zach McClarlon, Jean Smart, Kieren Culkin, Bruce Campbell, hilarious comedian Nick Offerman, and scene stealer Bokeem Woodbine....

I really don't have to say more (but I would if I had more time, haha!).

If you are looking for something to watch, and you haven't gotten on the Fargo bandwagon yet, I HIGHLY recommend this well--done and well-directed show.

If you have already watch, or end up watching, let's start a discussion on Fargo Seasons One and Two!

P.S. NO, all Minnesotans do NOT talk like that! In fact, most do not. But it is all in good fun. lol Smile

I started watching this a while ago and got about half way through season one. But then I let it go and haven't got back to it. I'll have to go back to it soon.

One thing about the voices... I reckon the people in the documentary Making a Murderer sound like they just walked off the set of Fargo.

I loved Fargo first season, it was so wicked, weird and outstanding. I started to watch the second season but something was off a bit and didn't continue.
