So we had an interesting day...

Yesterday I ended up coming home from a quick trip to the store when my wife told me to lock the doors. Asking what was up she informed me that her friend that lives two streets over said that there were a bunch of police cars on the street and that they were looking for a man on the run. They even had their K9s out sniffing. Looking at the picture on her phone I could see at least four cars on the street and an officer walking a dog.

We ended up having to lock all of our doors and windows and waited it out. They found the guy hiding in a woman's bushes two streets over, which is about a minute or so from our house. Needless to say the kids were a bit spooked, but everything turned up alright.

Have you ever had something like this happen to you?

Wow, that is so scary! I am sorry that happened to you and your family (children especially!). Thankfully, nothing like this has ever happened to us. These are things we hear about on the news and are glad did not happen, but I am sure no matter where we live these days, these things can happen. Glad they found the person and that he was outside and did not gain access to anyone's residence. So glad you are all SAFE.

Man with the videos I have seen recently involving trigger happy U.S. police shooting people who run and shooting people who don't run I am glad that it didn't end up in an even worse situation.

Yeah, I guess the guy had violated his probation for something semi-serious, which led to them coming in such an aggressive way. Thankfully they got him and nothing violent came of it.

So what the man did there? He was a thief?
I know such stories when the burglar bursted into the window and the flat owners were inside. The catch him on the leg and he nearly ran away, as the police that pass throw had seen this scene and helped them.. Be attentive for your windows and doors.. Who knows..

The guy was violating his probation here so the police were looking for him. I guess it took them a few days to actually get him while he was at/near his home.

Thank goodness he's off to jail and nothing bad came of it.

Hm.. and what about landed casinos..There are a lot of swindlers there.. So in the case of win you should understand that anyone can rob you.. So they affrord any security or any other protection for you transition from the casino to your home or not?
