Happy New Year folks

5 replies • Last post

I want to wish all our members and visitors a happy new year.

I spent new years eve at a friends place with a few families. All the kids ran around and played until they saw the family fireworks at 9pm. Then we took the little ones home and I was too tired to stay awake for midnight so I went to bed and missed the celebration. So that's my boring new year's eve story and this is what I missed! Smile

Anyway, once again happy new year and whether 2014 was a great one or not so good one for you, let's hope that 2015 is even better.

Happy New Year to you Ed and Hope!

That is a beautiful pic. My wife and I had friends over, but they got tired and left at 10pm. I then loaded a previous year's New Year Ball Drop onto YouTube, and tricked my kids into thinking it was midnight so I could go to bed early (they didn't catch that it was 2014 on the lights rather than 2015). Smile

bwahahhaah that is one mean and funny trick! I like it! lol

Unfortunately I live reasonably close to the city so if I tried that the kids would know because they would not be able to hear the fireworks exploding.

I really hope you didn't search youtube for "ball dropping" videos though...

Interesting that you say that... I now know an alternate usage for a tea bag. It's disturbing...
