Damn Winter

8 replies • Last post

While other parts of the world have been having nice weather (*cough* CL-Ed *cough*), we in the US have been having record cold and snow. Normally it doesn't bother me too bad, but today I was walking back up my driveway after an eye appointment when I slipped on the ice, twisted my knee and then fell square on my butt.

I am really feeling it still, and am already set for winter to be over. Who else feels this way? Who likes it?

I do like those winters, specially when there is snowing Smile Love to see it from window and drink coffee or tea Smile

I got a little sunburned at a bbq the other day. It was 38 degrees (100 for those who speak Fahrenheit)

Cool Cool Cool

I think I would rather the snow, just for one day at least.

I do not like winter much except for one or two pretty snows. We are having freezing rain tomorrow. I am ready for spring.

CL-Ed, I don't envy 100 degrees either. That is way too hot!

That freezing rain is the worst. Completely shuts everything down with just a tiny bit of ice. I am longing for my trip to the Bahamas... just another 61 days!
