Your Dream Car?

15 replies • Last post

I always like to joke when I am working about how one day I'll be driving a "Mercedes, Lamborghini, Ferrari, etc".

Sometimes I like to go online and look at these cars and dream about what I'll be driving.

What is your dream car to drive?

I myself am a fan of European cars, and love German vehicles. My current dream car of the month is the Mercedes E-Class Cabriolet. If I can round up $69 grand I will likely have it by Christmas Wink

Tell me which one you are going to be driving when you hit that big jackpot!

I like the Volvo S60 t6 polestar, or if I hit it really big, maybe a BMW Alpina or a Benz s55 coupe fully loaded, but I would still go with the Volvo any day.

I'm not much of a car guy. I'm happy to get from A to B in whatever. But I can say for sure that I never thought I would see Volvo mentioned in a thread about dream cars! This is what I see in my mind when you say Volvo. lol

Nice Kepskis! I think I may actually be in the market for a new car in the near future. My wife has a 2007 Cadillac SRX, and I am pouring money and time into fixing it constantly.

In the past year alone I have dumped in money for tie rod ends, a wheel bearing, timing chains ($1600!), new tires ($800!), spark plugs, and as of yesterday a new battery. I am hoping that I won't have to be dumping in new money on an alternator or starter in the near future.

My goal is to move her toward something really nice in a German car like an Audi or Volkswagen, but I have heard nothing but good things about BMW and Mercedes. Seeing as how I have to already pay out the nose for Cadillac parts, I am wondering if parts for a BMW or Audi would be that much worse.

This is the car she's driving right now BTW:

slim that looks like a secret service car from the movies. I'm expecting 6 guys in masks and machine guns to jump out the back.

Kepskis, for a minute there I thought you meant the broken green car on the left with the flat tyre! lol

My God. That was amazing. Is the Volvo made from a cinder block?

I remember when I was an 18 year old lad in 2003. Shortly after having shoulder surgery, I was hung up with my arm in a sling and sitting at my Grandma and Grandpa's house in a ritzy area near Detroit. I was privy to a former Detroit Red Wing Sergei Fedorov racing his Enzo Ferrari down the street (how do I know it was Sergei? He was the only person in the state of Michigan with that car at the time). My only thought? "Wow, that would have been a lot cooler in red."

Poor Sergei.
