Summer Weather: Where Are You?

4 replies • Last post

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but the weather here in Michigan has gotten downright chilly. Today I swear it is in the 40's and freezing cold out. I wore a hoodie all day long!

How is the weather out your way? Summerish, or something else?

The weather is strange. We've had hot days then the next day I need the ac on, then I need the heater on. We've had many nice tshirt weather days, then after that I need a jacket. For June weather it seems too cold. I turned on the heater tonight.

We have not had summer yet, maybe TWO days of sunshine, but I honestly do not remember. We still had snow end of April to beginning of May, and now I feel like I live in Seattle. Except it is probably nicer there. Seriously, Nov is supposed to be our cloudiest month, and I honestly do not remember the last time I saw the sunshine. This "spring" is messing with everyone's minds and moods in MN. I seriously do not remember a spring this bad, and it make me angry. All I do is complain, lol. But we in MN wait SO long for summer and our summers go by so fast, that this is ridiculous! I don't even think the lakes will warm up for swimming until August or Sept at this rate (if ever). In fact, some lakes still had ICE on opening fishing week end! Friends, this is getting old. I am more than ready to move. lol

No wonder people are depressed there if there is no sunshine. Can you imagine living in Alaska?
