You could be possibly spied infront of your PC or laptop and someone could be watching what you're doing.. makes me wonder! I may have to cover my webcam with a sticker for now.. goose bumps!

I was half way through thinking theres an easy solution if you just can't resist those email attachments - just turn the thing off when you're not using it or even stick a bit of tape or a card over the camera if you have to leave it on. At least they suggested that at the end.

I taped my webcam over years ago after I watched the video about students being tracked while at home.

I taped up mine when I had my work computer. I worked from home, so I wondered if the people at the office were "checking in" on us, lol. I didn't even think of it until I saw something over a coworkers computer cam when at a staff meeting. Not that I was doing anything I shouldn't have, of course, but it was just the idea that they COULD do that if they really wanted to. Yes, scary stuff. Can never be too careful.

This one, on the same page, scares me. I just read an article today in the St. Paul Pioneer Press about this. And I read that hospitals in only six states are required to report such things. More things to be afraid of Which is why I don't watch too much news. lol We knew this one was coming eventually, though, right?
