What are internet sweepstakes? I'm lost here. That's a lot of money to win.

They are cafes that offer fixed odds betting, which is basically like internet gambling at an internet cafe.

Most states have either outlawed them or are in the process of outlawing them, but some still have them sticking around.

They work on a contingency of not offering casino gambling in a legal sense, but instead a "sweepstakes" with fixed odds payouts (or something like that if I have a correct read on it).

Its not quite as random as an internet casino, but probably still quite a bit of fun to play at.
